Jlueking submitted a new resource:

SwapGear - Move gear between 2 characters on the same account via shared bank with packs 1 and 3.

This is my first attempt at creating a lua with the help of chatgpt and reviewing other luas ive collected.

I mainly have been using this to quickly change from on character to another of the same class so i can farm the same content again. I am sure it can be used if the gear doesn't have class requirements.

Its pretty niche as you basically will need 2 of the same class on the same account but works great for the newer free trade servers like Teek and Mischief.

-- /lua run...

When I run the command my characters just zone n and out of the guild hall continuously and does nothing else. (Solved)
New issue he runs to the Guild Hall goes to the banker opens the bags and the shared slots and pickups bag #2 in my inventory and then logs over to whoever I want to switch to, and then the Lua stops.

I was looking for something like this, I play on free trade server so most of my equipment is tradeable. My first bag is my trade skill bag, I would love to have the bags selectable, as is I just have to move bags to put empty bags in 1 and 3...
I use a persona saved set to swap/remove augs that are not tradeable prior to moving equipment. Those nodrop augs, ornaments, go into the first available slots and this could make the bag they land in no-trade. This is another reason to make the bags used selectable.

After i pull the equipment from the bank I typically use a saved persona set to equip everything again.

Assuming you were still maintaining this, If you could have it load the class specific persona saved set (I don't know if there is a command for that or if it would require mq commands to press the button on the persona tab of inventory window..) this could fix the leftover bracer being left in the bag.

This may be too much to ask, it does require having the saved class persona set in advance. possibly could check if there is a saved set (I don't know if that is even doable) and if there is not one saved, proceeded to equip everything as you currently have it. Perhaps add a value on the command to have it "load set" of selected class then default to ${Me.Class.ShortName}

(example of possible command) /Lua run swapgear [toonname] [class]

thanks for the work you have done on this, I will for sure use it even as it is.
