I was wondering if there are any guides on different ways to configure my boxing group now that I got it up and running. Also, is there a specific EQ UI that works best with boxing over the default UI?

none that really work "best" tho some folks, including myself, do use a non-default ui. popular ones probably include stice, zliz, Aya etc

I use Zliz with a few mods and i really like it - you can see it in all of my vids (lot of the vids are in my signature)

Not really....But if you have mastered the basic's then you can start tweeking under the hood.

If you are using Kissassist - a great place to Start is to review other peoples ini files. (I printed a heap out and made myself a little booklet)
You will see people using conditions instead of using burn, or you will see how people use certain items.

This can be a great way to start moulding the character to behave exactly the way you want.

Ask questions....we dont bite (mostly) and are happy to help get the maximum out of your toons.

Also - dont be afraid to share your great ideas and your own ini files.

If you are up and running - and ready for more - then keep looking at these forums.
There are a LOT of awesome plugins that you may not be using.

ie. Have you used plugins such as MQ2BOXR
Have you upgraded to NEXT
Have you made the switch to Dannet

There is lots of stuff happening....

What I did once I had one group sorted.....I added another group....and another group....and another group......

I have not looked at dannet yet, no idea what it is. Still learning how to use the software but loving it. I managed to get the DPS window showing though! ROFL!

I dont see how to use MQ@@BOXR. Doesnt show up in the launcher and I cant compile source code. What is NEXT?

the only plugins you need to manage on the launcher are the "premium" paid for plugins like mq2grind or the cwtn class plugins

you just load it /plugin mq2boxr load

I will research more about boxr, I tried using it but didnt notice it doing anyhting other than bringing my group around with me. Also with Dannet, should I have the eqbcs2 server running if using dannet?

you can use eqbc and dannet separately, some folks use both but entirely not needed to run eqbc and dannet

So having a problem getting autogroup to work. for some reason, after creating the group and adding all my members (6 box team) only 1 of them will auto join the group. The rest will not join automatically and have to be manually joined. Ive deleted and re-created the group 3 times, with logouts and back in each time and still same behavior.

I dont think its anything im doing, has anyone else run into this?

Also, I setup dannet but I fail to see the use or point of it. even though I setup a group to autoconnect to, the boxes never autoconnect.

For autogroup Iused the startcommand "/bccmd connect" command but that also doesnt work, none of my boxes will autojoin the servers. - *EDIT* You have to run that command on each character (or edit the .ini) for this to work ;p

are they getting invite, but not accepting? make sure the chat inviting is on trusted accept list.

also if they are doing *things* ie casting, summoning, hading out pet toys, they can get the invite but ignore accepting it.

Hmm, having some crashes now, got a kernel dump as well as eqgame dmp files in the log folder.

Should I do a complete uninstall and reinstall of everything? Thinking I must have screwed something up.

*Edit Still having a very hard time getting autogroup to work. sometimes it does, more often then not only a couple members join and thats it. Ive done everything by the book from what I read on the website so dont know if its just a limitation of the macro that anything that can interrupt a player can break it.

Autogroup only works if you're in the same zone.

Im going to have to say that autogroup is bugged and not working on my system. Ive tried everything, nothing works. it is simply a macro / plugin that doesnt work.
