Question - Stop bard from sitting? Bard wont sing MedSong when Sitting

Gem 5 = Chorus of Replenishment

When Bard stop's pulling to let people med up, the bard sits down and stop's playing mana song....
I need the bard to sing a song to speed up med time..... I recall in older versions of KA I just went and modified the mac to have bard never sit. Is there a better way?

I tried TwistMed=0 and same result.

I don't use KA but I would think you want mana song going while he is sitting. He can "cast" the song and then sit, though I have no idea how to tell KA to do that.

I noticed that sometimes he sits with the last song he played on twistwhat..maybe letting twistwhat for only the regen song helps a bit till they find a solution...

or maybe use the bard mac some1 made for 85+ but my bard isnt 85 yet

CHANGE
"GroupWatchOn=1"

TO
"GroupWatchOn=0"

also if you are hands on, ie. not afk'ing, a hot key to have all sit and have the Bard stand and twist the non melee could be

/stand
/sit
/bc "Bard's name goes here without qutes" //stand
/bc "ditto" //twist

the rest will auto stand to cast buffs and heals
it works

Cant avoid GroupWatchOn.... althou the ini says bard is assist he is usually pulling /mac kissassist puller

I guess need to put another mod for kissassist.mac to address this =(

I see the Bard is the puller...

If other casters are putting the crew on hold you can at least use "GroupWatchOn=2" to only meditate for healers.

Also I like any caster to be meditating if not actively working so I set their;

MedStart=20"
TO
"MedOn=1
MedStart=95'

This will help keep the crew working...

Aye, "/bc XXX" is the command to divert XXX to the EQBC window (EverQuest Box Chat)

The plugin allows you to use the EQBC server to allow your toons (or friends if you want to open it up to the internet) to talk to each other more or less ingame with out SOE/DBG knowing about it. It makes an ingame window that you will see the chat through.

The MQ2EQBC plugin not only allows you to communicate with the other toons logged on to the server, but issue keyword commands, or direct commands. Anything you can type into your keyboard to control your toon, can be done through EQBC commands to command another toon on the server. Mainly though it allows a channel for all your bot spam to go to, so you can monitor what is going on with your toons, with out risking anyone else in EQ seeing the spam

for instance these are box chat tells to a specific toon, the double // is telling the recieving toon's MQ2EQBC plugin to perform the command the same as if you were typing on that toon... ie "/stand" or "/twist"


There are a few plugin that also utilize EQBC to communicate various toon information, helping out macro/macro writers with additional TLO (Top Level Objects) to use to help monitor group members (or other toons outside the group but logged into EQBC server) with out needing to target them.

Heh sorry, EQBC is an awesome tool that has a lot of uses, but like any tool it all depends on what you want to employ it for.

Interesting...i dont know much about all plugins, i try to keep focused on kissassist things, there are a lot of information on this site and sometimes i get lost..im trying to learn the maximum i can but i know shit about programing and coding (went to law school ) and english isnt my first language so its double complicated for me...

MQ2Melee has an option for allowing stand. I can't find it in my game files right now, and with the game down, I can't be specific. I think you just need to add stand=1. That forces him to stand when he's casting med song.

You might just try taking the gem 2 out of the TwistWhat= section

Now I have no idea what is in gem slot 2, but do you need it running when not in combat?
Yes I know it might be well's that you use/need for pulling, but you could try it and find out.
