Can one Lua script start one, or more, other Lua scripts? The initial Lua would need to keep running and not self-terminate or anything like that.
 
Yes it's possible. Lootier does it.

Edit: Oh, you actually just do mq.cmd('/lua run whatnot') I had already considered this method, but discarded it as I was afraid that it would be unsafe to use. I still only type my macro commands like /bam term or /ll in the actual macroquest window, so that they do not get sent to the eq parser and possibly reported to the daybreak popo. I seem to remember that this was the way to go back in the day, but perhaps things have changed since 2009. :)
