Problem - Spawnmaster sound alert Battle down

Hello

Since the last patch the sound alert "Battle" is down, alert on chat windows work but the wave voice is a simple lound bip... I check the in game window voice macro and same, all alert are ok but Battle not working.

I checked the sound directly in the Eq-folder and the wave working good with vlc.

Bug on compile or patch EQ ???

How do you make it that MQ2SpawnMaster plays an sound if an mob spawns ?

I copy/pasted the ini (OnSpawnCommand="/multiline ; /vt 3 005 ; /popup SPAWN: ${SpawnMaster.LastMatch}!") the moment i started to use mq2spawnmaster, but there was never an sound (But the /popup).

/vt 3 005 dont create an sound on my system. I think i use /beep instead. That will work.

Has never worked for me either :D
 
lmao mine says HELLO in whatever native tongue and toon race of each toon when something spawns, it took me a week to figure out what and why it was happening, was kinda funny.... I felt like I had the AOL virus or something.... always randomly saying HELLO to me.... I was expecting "You've Got Mail" to be next...
 
I also cant get it to play any sound when it mob spawns on my list. What is the code to change it to that gmcheck.wav file in the macro folder?

I changed the /vt 300 5 to /beep .. that will play the beep.

Something borked the OnSpawnCommand it seems last patch. Mine is no longer working as well.
 
dont RG use the version that lets you play a specific sound file for each named ?

Something like

Spawn36=#Sentry Rixzeel
Sound36=DKN_M_Battle.mp3
 
This isn't working for me as of the last update either, the Spawns trigger but I can't get the OnSpawnCommand to work at all now.
 
Is anyone able to fix the OnSpawnCommand so that it works again? It stopped working last patch I think it was.

Bump, hopeing someone in the know notices this is not working and will be able to fix it.the OnSpawnCommand is not working.
 
This is still not working. Is there anyway to get the source so I can take a look at it and see why it is not working?
 
Am I being over the top in this workaround?

Perhaps if there was a plugin that checked the MQ2log for the spawn there could be an event from mq2event plugin that sent a voice tell or something?

Although it's probably just as easy for someone who can write plugins to go and edit the spawnmaster plugin to work again :)
 
/spawnmaster add "spawn name|sound" - Add spawn name and sound to watch list (or target if no name given)
example: /spawnmaster add "a moss snake|moss.mp3" - Note that moss.mp3 must exist in the Voice\Default directory (its in your everquest dir)
 
Yeah the program used to announce the Named in your MQ2 window, then also do the action in your SpawnMaster ini which is where the sound call was saved. I had mine set to /beep only and mine stopped doing it too. It's like that line of code isn't called now.

My MQ2SpawnMaster.ini settings, not working around same time as everybody else:

The SpawnMaster code was on MQ2 website in the paid ($10) plugin forums. I downloaded it awhile back but didn't have the code knowledge to fix it myself.
 
i would never know, i have hardcoded my sound off for eq, i hate eq sounds, so much. so my eq dont make a peep, unless its a beep from mq2
