Tech - Sooo I have some Inception going on .....

While troubleshooting why I couldnt get MQWar and Zerk into modes as no mesh message....I discovered I have a Macros folder inside my Macros folder. I deleted the Macros folder inside the Macros folder. But, when I /mac kissassist I then got: Couldn't open macro file C:\MQ2\Release\Macros\Macros\Kissassist.mac.

Luckily I did not empty my recycle bin. I restored the 2nd Macros folder. /Mac Kissassist then worked again. Here's where it gets tricky...my toons are creating a first time ini with no buffs or spells when I target tank and mac kissassist. This is in the Macros folder inside the Macros folder. The "real" ini's are in the first macros folder.

Suggestions?

I have done that before. When I built a new comp I think I had 3 versions and none of them sons o bitches was the right ones....I finally deleted them all and started over after saving my settings and personal macros onto a thumb drive.

Yeah, this particular comp I have had for about 3 years now, and with the new launcher somehow I messed up. I can get everything into one macro folder, but I am not sure how / why when I /mac kissassist it gets directed to C:\MQ2\Release\Macros\Macros\Kissassist.mac.

Is macroquest2.exe in the Release\Macros folder by chance?

I just noticed it is in both my MQ2\Release folder AND my MQ2\Release\Macros folder.
