Bug - Something wierd is going on--

OK, I do not know if this is an exploit, bug, or just plain weird.

I have been having issues with Kissassist v9.1.7 and that is another thread in the KA support .

But what is very strange is what I have to do to work around that issue. It seems that the issue does not present itself if I run /debugall on the tank in question.

When I leave /debugall running overnight, MQ2 will crash. What is weird is when I log back in I am in South Quenos at the docks. While this is not that bad in and of itself, what is truely weird is that most of the mobs in Sebilis are standing there all in a pile, bunched up together. They are all using the base male human skin.

Yesterday Trakanon was standing there. Yeah I know bizarre.

I have had this happen twice now, Next time I will take screen shots.

yes, KA v9.1.8 is fixed my issue. the above post was about the weirdness of logging back into S. Qeynos with Traks mobs there.

Only thing I can guess is that the /debugall is overflowing some buffer and drops the client. When logging back in you are in S.Q with mobs that should not be in the zone.

Thanks Maskoi and Ctaylor for the quick turnaround on the fix for KA.

wow kiss 9.1.8...i stay away 6 days and we went from .6 to .8

nice work maskoi

I've had this issue twice, once on a toon running KA and then when I server x-fered a toon. I had no idea what was going on, it seemed i was in qeynos being killed by fungus men and trakanon but then when i consented my other toons it said unknown zone. Was wondering what this was and I found the answer. Thanks and hoping it's fixed I had no idea it was a mq issue. What should I do in the future when this happens, Just summon to lobby and rez or what? I don't want to get banned for being in some weird place that I shouldn't be. One was way back but the server x-fer one was right around late Jan.

I think I have narrowed this down. It seems if you go LD in an instance, and go past the experation of the instance, i.e 6+ hours offline, when you come back you are in a "safe zone" other than the instance.

I have yet to determine why some of my party goes to special Qeynos and fights SEB mobs, while some go to Everfrost Peaks and one goes to Nektulos forest.

I do not know if it is a class or race that determines where people go.

Race:
human,drakin,DE,Gnomes goes to special Qeynos
Troll to Nek forest
Halflings Everfrost peaks

Class
Warrior,wiz,ench,bard,SK,Nec to Special Qeynos
shaman, cleric goes to other than Special Qeynos

A couple of odd things about Special Qeynos instance
1) it can only be gated out of, while the nektulos forest you can run to the POK book and get to POK. The Nek forest also does not seem to have other dungeon mobs in it such as SEB AKA Trak.
2) other party members cannot see each other in the zone even if grouped and standing right beside each other, but will be ported out by a group
3) Seems most of all the mobs in SEB are in special Qeynos all packed together on one spot. There are about 40-50 mobs standing on one spot
4) all of the mobs will attack on sight except for the Echo of Sebilis.
5) The mobs have their loot as if they were in Seb.

I have killed Trak so many times this way, many more times than my Guild every raided Seb back in the day. I get disconnected a lot.

Things to ponder and/or test:
1) If the Seb mobs in the special Qeynos are linked to the mobs in Seb. Meaning if killed in special Qeynos, are they dead in Seb or vice versa? -- Somehow I do not think so.
2) if this this happens due to the 6 hour limit of the instance, or the 20 min of the instance collapse if no one in in it.-- I suspect it is the 6 hour thing but need to test.
3) why some classes or races go to special Qeynos and some go elsewhere.
4) is this limited to the instance I am in that is sending me to this special Qeynos, or do other instances send people to other special zones with other dungeon mobs in it.

I think it's probably significant that the zone ID of south Qeynos is 1. As for Nektulos Forest (25) and Everfrost (30) I'm not sure.

Ogre, high elf, euridite, vah shir are what I had going to Qeynos
I could see my characters, I could not run out of zone had to use AA or gate to get out
