Hey guys, I've got a schedule through the end of Q1, 2022 that's looking like I'll be working most days. I finished my epics, aug quests, etc. for my SK (my main). What would you all recommend doing for someone that can be barely engaged in the game but wants to play and/or be logged? Trophy / achievement hunting maybe? Any special items you would recommend that I can be mostly disengaged?

If there's a thread on this already please point me to it - thanks.

I don't know of a thread already, and lazy to look, but I'll add in some ideas.
- Bazaar game (selling and buying) Not too much engagement and using a few tools on here can 'play a different type thing'
- Running a few things like Collection hunting or running zone to zone to get all the Exploration AA, adds to journey man speed. There is a macro for it too. Its a good longterm thing as running around takes a LONG time.
- Choosing one zone, killing bosses, for achievement and AA extras, simple and not too engaging depending on zone/level.

Not sure of a thread, but maybe try an alt or new char? Slowly work on twinking them out with your main. I enjoy doing that sometimes.

If you have the ability to run Zlandicar, I would set that as a camp for my toons. With proper planning and having the toons of level, you could sneak in 3 runs in just over an hour's time. The Crystallized Restless Ore will come in handy. Don't neglect to run Overseer! That xp adds up nicely! There's a great macro for it. The Zlandicar runs can be substitued with Griklor if need be.

How can you do 3 zlandicar runs in an hour when lockout timer 6 hrs do you mean 3 runs in 18 hrs?

No Sir, I mean 3 runs in just over an hour. That is all my character pool can setup. If you time the task and have the 113+ toons available, one group can theoretically run it non-stop.

So is the request timer 6 hours for the requester meaning another character from the group can request it then?

I want to apologize to luclinjunkie as I didn't mean to hijack your post
The timer belongs to the person who obtained the task. That person can TA another, make them leader then /taskquit. If said person started the timer 5.5hrs prior, that leaves 30 minutes to knockout the task leaving a lockout of 30 minutes. If you stagger your time getting the task, you can keep running it as many times as you have alts that are 113+. You can't keep using a single toon to get the task, pass it off and repeat as they will have the tasktimer associated with them.

This sounds very shaddy and may bring unwanted attention to any characters caught doing this IMO

You could work on trade skills during your downtime.

This way you can make all kinds of armors, stat food, stat drink, weapons and other goodies for your alts at will

Hunter quests
PoP flagging
Tradeskills
epics for other toons

By the time I finish PoP flagging and hunter achievements in PoP zones I will have spent 3-4 months working on it and likely gained only a level or 2 (85 currently). My time is extremely limited and I can pick off a mob or key in an hour or 2,

@luclinjunkie - I have a similar situation - I have little time to play, but a big desire to do "something".

On my original Main (115 Necro), I ran the entire Hero's Journey Achievement line. That took a lot of time, but was easy and really gave me a lot to see in Everquest overall. After that, I started clearing each of the Achievement tabs (Everquest, Ruins of Kunark, Velious, etc). I did the progression sets and all of the stuff related to each of those. Again, nothing that is earth shattering or a major accomplishment with a 115 Necro, but it brought back lots of memories, reminded me of lore and locations, and opened up some stuff for me along the way.

Although I've been subscribed here since 2019, I'm really just starting to box (and to be honest, I really haven't done that much, either). Regardless of the path you take, just have fun!

Another thing you can do is the old progression tasks. Very easy to do solo when your LFG or just want something easy to do.

Its fun and you get to see content that maybe you have never experienced before. Also might pick up some useful items along the way

eq is a game of inches, so there's almost always something to do that will give you some kind of value

artisan prize comes to mind
350ing tradeskills
hero's fort/vitality etc
completing shiny collections from each xpac (you get achievements, sometimes bags, etc)
set up housing and split all your collections by xpac in diff houses
set up housing for tradeskill stuff
become a completionist and see how many achievements you can get /status achieve will tell you your score (next)

as always strongly discourage any afk play - and if you can't be fully focused on your screen, definitely ensure you take the necessary steps so that your attention can be gotten if it needs to be gotten, mq2say, mq2discord etc etc etc

Start another grp...and another...and another...and another...and another...and another...and another...and another

Then you will NEVER run out of things to do. In fact its full time job just to keep track of what toons are doing what - BUT you will also be amazed at what you can do by yourself.

Thanks guys, some good ideas here. Will have to get organized and plan 'the attach' for next 5ish months, ha.
