Ok , my main grabs loots too quickly , I cant disperse it to who needs it . I mean , mob dead , bam loot is gone . This is getting frustrating . Is there anyway to slow it down to give me a chance to hand it out . Thanks

If you're talking about MQ2AutoLoot check these options out.

Code:
5. NewItemDelay= #n time delay in seconds before the master looter will attempt to loot/distribute items not found in your loot.ini. Default is 0 seconds.
- /AutoLoot newitemdelay #n -> Master looter waits #n seconds when a new item drops before looting that item
6. DistributeLootDelay= #n time delay in seconds before the master looter will attempt to distribute items to others in the group/raid. Default is 5 seconds.
- /AutoLoot distributedelay #n -> Master looter waits #n seconds to try and distribute the loot

I think it might have to do with mac explore . Since I ran it , now all my toons are default to Greed on everything ( PITA to change back on all ) and bam stuff looted . I went to MQ2AutoLoot , didnt see that setting .

change LootOn= to 0 in all your kissassist ini files. Then go and configure MQ2AutoLoot. You'll be editing the release\macros\loot.ini file to setup how you want each item to be distributed. By default, tradeable items will be looted by the master looter and no drop items will be left on corpse to be manually looted by the character who needs it. To have no drop items distributed automatically, you need to set that up in the loot.ini file. This intentionally bypasses EQ's advanced loot. you can also use the commands /autoloot turn on and /autoloot turn off to start and stop auto looting.

HUmmmmm! SA_kryeck I have been doing it just the opposote. I turn on loot and set LootOn=1 on all toons and then just edit the Loot.ini file for things like Quest stuff and the amount, trash to sell, trash to leave and trash to destroy. So far it works great. When I get a new quest I just wait till I get one item then edit the loot.ini and presto it sent the leftovers to the group.

@khardin10 and @SA_krycek you guys are talking about different things right? @khardin10 is using ninjaadvloot? Or am I mistaken? Then, @SA_krycek is talking about mq2autoloot?

You are not mistaken, 2 different systems at play.

MQ2AutoLoot is based on ninjadvloot. It is just faster and doesn't slow down your main macro ie kissassist/modbot. In MQ2AutoLoot it only allows you to slow it down for new items, or items that are being passed out.

Once you've looted an item once with MQ2AutoLoot/ninjadvloot it will create a loot.ini entry and you can edit it so the correct characters get the item. If your worried about that first drop just increase the time it pauses when a new item drops.

There are many loot.ini entries you can use to make sure the correct characters get the item that drop. ie Quest/Gear/Keep/Sell... The most useful for no drop items you'd like to wear is the Gear entry, once you've looted one of those pieces of armor pick it up and type "/setitem gear" and it will auto populate the classes that can use it and the number they need.

Sorry. I was just using what I knew. I didn't think that Mq2Autoloot was different or advanced than what I am using. I will have to look more in it and see what it does.
