Question - Single player caster PL advice?

Good day. I'd like to create a new mage and don't have the SC or desire to spend $35 on a heroic toon, so that means leveling up from 1.

I've read through here and it seems the guides are all for group/box leveling. Is there a good guide for PLing a single toon, and a mage/caster at that?

hatchery with hatchery.mac is still a good option

will you have access to a tough sk for powerleveling? or is it just one toon and you?

What I typically do when I want to level up a character on live or on my private server is I create a group for them. Accounts are free on live so building a temporary group around a character can do wonders. I am not sure of all of your constraints though.

I'd say go mage, cleric, bard or enchanter...should be an easy climb to 115 with a 3 box setup + mercs.

If you really want to climb fast...go Mage/Mage/Mage/Bard or Beastlord/Enc/cleric.

Power leveling is by definition using a higher level character to level a lower level character. So not sure what PLing a single toon would be. If you actually mean PLing, then it would help to know what higher level char you have available.

If you just mean twinking, then things like buying the highest level stat food that doesn't have a level restriction (forget name) and non-restricted gear come into play.
