There is a syntax error of sorts with this line

KA refuses to load with a nasty failure to parse some expression error.

maybe because you're using old and busted legacy mq2? I dunno, it is correct to get your charm item and the spell from it.

maybe you should upgrade to macroquest "Next"

I am indeed using the old and busted mq2. I shall finally upgrade to the new hotness. TBH I'm thinking of just biting the bullet on MQ2war....

Had similar issues as Monk, I had to put the full name of the Charm and Ranged to make this work for me. I am using NEXT and its updated.

I tried it and works pretty well. I am using the regular download patcher on the Main page , I'm assuming this is the latest MQ2 your talking about

I'm running KA 12.002 on MQNext and got the following error when trying to use the ini.

Hey Sic! I’m running Lua/MAUI and I’ve been using your 115 Warrior for the entire year. I would like to run your new 120 .ini but I seem to be having problems getting the discs to go off after the last update to MQ2 and Lua/MAUI. Could I possibly pay you to help me set up an .ini for my warrior to run?

looks like the way to handle this seems to be trying to debug the buff lines 1 by 1?
i'll update when/ifI figure out what's causing the issue.

edit: well the first thing I did was comment out the line Rocky mentioned above, and that did the trick. Kudos

have Velium Enhanced Charm of Brilliance in the charm slot and using this:

Buffs8=${Me.Inventory[charm]}|Dual|${Me.Inventory[charm].Spell.Name}
Buffs9=Miniature Horn of Unity|Mana|90

in my Buffs but it has never activated. Anything I might be doing wrong?

you have something missing a .ID

I don't believe this is from this ini, so if you added something, or have something else running that code, you'll want to check that.

There are no conditions i have in the ini that would have a NULL in the first slot, and then an active disc in the second part, nor a value of 600 in the last

We also don't use Resistant Discipline in this ini

I had never used KA for my War so I had to start up KA let it generate the ini, deleted everything and pasted this in and I get 4 errors like this, I removed 2 lines in the buffs and was left with this error, I have no removed the conditions sections and really only used the buffs, and DPS sections and it works and does not give this error. I didnt add anything just been slowely trying to troubleshoot it as I dont know the coding much at all.

Having same errors with the charm line as guys above. Just removed the buff to make it work.
