Problem - Showname Targeted PC only (1 Viewer)

OK . I posted this in chat and Sic responded (Thank You) but still not getting me where I am trying to get. I have always played with shownames off for PC. However when I would target a PC it would show their name - guild - ( ) if invisi. This would only be on PC i had targeted. No other PC names would show. For whatever reason it quit working in the last week and I cannot get it to do this. Anyone have any ideas? I have no idea how I got it to work prior. Just always worked. Essentially I want showpcnames target only. I cant stand all the clutter showing every toon name especially on raids but need it to show on my target.

Thanks in advance.

I think so.

I did /shownames 0 Tried them all 0-7
That turned them all off... which is perfect. Now just need the PC I have targeted to SHOW.

I was not clear on your captions.

This is what was in the folder:

to be clear, i was only posting for pet and merc - you don't want to delete the player stuff or npc or corpse or anything else you want customized and such (removing that stuff you would end up with no LD/LDR, HPS etc)

someone had asked how to not show anything for pets, and what is what i was showing

but keep in mind there are some bugs with the big update eq did > here is the thread <

I've been having the same issue since the patch. I have "Show PC Names" unchecked in Options, yet all PC names are still showing. When I toggle the check box the names disappear for a second, then reappear.

/showname may need some tweeking? The "off" option still shows everything.
