JerkChicken submitted a new resource:

Show Missing Overseer Agents - Shows missing overseer agents, retire unneeded agents, and convert echos to more agents.

Reviews your Overseer agents and displays which are missing
---- Requires Next -----

Can also convert Agents to Echos, and Agent Echos to more agents.
Purpose is to convert Elite Agents down to Common Agents
(May take a few rings to get there.)

Why keep doing recruitment tasks if you do not need to.
This macro complements the OverSeer Automation macro.

There are no plans to convert echos to anythign other than agents

- Known Issues:
Requires your Rewards window to be clean before it...

I'm having an issue with automatically Retiring Elites and Claiming the Echoes.

Here is my INI setup:
RetireAgents=TRUE
ClaimEchos=TRUE
ClaimAgents=TRUE
SafeMode=FALSE
KeepElites=1
KeepRares=999
KeepUncommonIconic=999
KeepUncommon=999
But I keep getting this message (on three different toons):
1638808844310.png

I don't have any pending rewards, so I'm unsure what I need to change.

Nevermind. I ran it on a fresh run of a different toon and it worked flawlessly. The accounts I checked have been up for days, so probably just need to refresh them.

Thank you for your service. I may have already told you that, but it's never enough. I did 24 years in USAF. Paratrooper for 13 years of that. Had to give up that job because when we were practicing nighttime Halo jumps, they drop me a coral bed and I was injured and unable return to the team and then I went into Emergency Medicine.

Just a general question on how this is supposed to work as opposed to the way it is working for me. First thing I do is claim all rewards because it will not retire and replace agents if the rewards list is blank, if not it will tell you to accept all rewards before continuing. First I run /mac missingagents to the end. Then I go and find the "overseer agents ini file and alter the 4 true falses a the top of the .ini file and I make them all True and then, as recommended the next 4 lines that default 999 ...I changed them all to 2. Then I go back and run this again. At the end it gives me a list of all missing agents of all types. Also, as suggested, I ran it again on each of my toons and then it may say would like to retire agents hit /mqpause off to start it again then it goes through and completes the macro. Now for my question ....since I have never used missingagents macro before shouldn't I have agents to retire, echoes to claim, and so on??? Is it that I don't have agents to retire and convert as well as recover missing agents? Thanks and I hope this makes sense to someone. Much love to the developers involved in this Overseer project(s)!!!

I posted a question in the Missing Overseer Agents Macro discussion and I am not sure why it may not have been seen. Only posting this because it might be seen. Thank you!!!

If you are seeing the message "A forced pause before we retire agent." then it should attempt to retire the agent. That is what SafeMode does, pauses before we do anything which cannot be reversed. You should have a hotbutton for /mqp off, at least that what i used.

If you have agents with a count higher than the Keep counts in the INI is should retire those, if its not then there might be an issue with the macro

Generally I would use the OverSeer macro to convert agents up to Elites and this one to bring them down. Do that cycle enough times and you will have all the agents.

To be honest, I have not loaded up MQ in over a month. I'll try to find some time this weekend to fire it up and make sure things are working as they should.

Thanks for the reply. As you can see, I have the number set to 2 for all the Elite and Rare agents. As much as I have been doing this I have seen only 2 convert icons in my bags. Question: When I look at my Agents screen it tells me how many agents I have, what they are doing and then there is those that say incapacitated. How or can I get these back. When I run /mac missingagents, it pauses relatively fast, I unpause and continue. Then it stops again and tells me the agents that are missing. In this case, this is what it says. Then I unpause again ...assuming that the macro is trying to recover agents, retire agents, creating Echos and then converting those echoes into Common Agents.

Missing Elite Agents - 18
Missing Rare Agents - 26
Missing Uncommon Iconic Agents - 5
Missing Uncommon Agents - 10
Missing Common Agents - 1

Common sense tells me the obvious but not knowing what this means and how to get them back is the million dollar question. Am I missing something here.

Thanks for your help on helping me to understand the dynamics of the Overseer Macro and the function of the game inside the game.

If you are missing this many then you likely do not have more than 2 of the agents, you want to be converting to echos.
Taking a guess; you have a ton of common agents and very few Rare and no Elites.
Again guessing; you are looking to convert Commons up to Rares. This is not what this script does. You need to be running conversion missions.

This macro was writing because a had a ton of Elites and was missing a few Uncommon's and Rare. I wanted an easy way to see which ones I was missing and to Retire those Elites down to Commons again so I could run Conversion missions to try and convert them back up into agents I was missing.

Agents can be retired (Turned into Echos) This echo items can be claimed into either Overseer experience or into lower agents. Retire an Elite agent and you can get two Rare Agents from it. Retire a Rare agent and get two uncommon agents. etc.

The Overseer macro is what I used to convert all my Commons up to Rares and Elites.

Hope that makes sense.

1. Taking a guess; you have a ton of common agents and very few Rare and no Elites. YES ON ELITE ...Have 10 to 15 Rare Iconic Agents
2. Again guessing; you are looking to convert Commons up to Rares. This is not what this script does. You need to be running conversion missions. LETTING THE MAC PICK THE QUESTS SO NOT SURE!!
3. The Overseer macro is what I used to convert all my Commons up to Rares and Elites. HOW EXACTLY DO I DO THIS?

What you are saying makes sense ...just not sure how to do #2???

I have 246 total agents. On this particular account which mirrors most of my toons I have 1 or 2 Elites, 10-20 Rares, 53 Uncommon, and the rest are Commons

I have noticed that some of my toons have many more missions to choose from than others. Is there anything I can do to get more missions?

Does this look right or does something need to be changed?

Using this macro for the first time today I found it wasn't always able to open the Agent Echo window. I had the bright idea that perhaps my bags were too full, so I opened the top slot in the top bag and boom it worked like a champ after that. My top bag was a 42-slot and my top 3 bags were full of crap so the Echo was dropping well down into my inventory.

Just an FYI and YMMV! :)

On further review it may just be that I have to keep the bag open. It eventually failed again and would consistently fail unless the bag was open.

I had the same issue. I just turned off claim echos and it worked just fine. I dont mind claiming the echos manually.

So I was coming in here to delete this one since they added the Overseer in achievements.
Now I'm thinking I should rewrite it just for the Retire/Claim Echo stuff.

This macro is great. I had been doing recruitments forever but had never stopped to retire my duplicates. I used your macro to try and obtain agents I was still missing by retiring and claiming all the way down to Commons and then combining duplicates back up using @GoldenFrog 's great macro.

I anticipate I'll want to do this again in a few months.

This was definitely a phenomenal macro, I really appreciate it. I had ALOT of duplicates that I never bothered to retire. One toon ended up with like 80+ echos. lol
