Question - Shield AC and off-hand weapons

As you know, shields grant additional AC above the class AC cap on a 1-to-1 basis. The question is, do weapons with an AC stat that are in the off-hand also grant AC like a shield? Same question for 2-handers with an AC stat.

No, because its by item type (shield) not slot.
