I haz a question,

I'm using my shaman as slower instead of chanters. Their slow has a nice dot called Languid Bite. On a single target, that's great. But if I get adds, Languid Bite is counterproductive because it breaks mez. Of course, I could not AE slow on adds but I was wondering if there was a way to turn off Languid Bite before casting Virulent Swarm, then turning it back on for Turgur's.

Is the languid bite ability an AA? If so, you could toggle it on and off.

Languid bite is an AA and has the ability to Enable or Disable. I disabled it for that very reason since my bards mez was getting broken.

The heal from sluggishness and the counterbias line do not stack. I would recommend one or the other but not both.

you are right, but if you put sluggishness on the tank and dont use an AE slow it will slow the adds until you can slow them all

I can probably count on one hand the number of times I have used the AE slow. The same goes for the counterbias line. The cast time is way to slow. Additionally, my shaman is my main healer a vast majority of the time. Spiritual Squall is the longest casting spell in my lineup at 2.5 seconds. Besides buffs (and Squall), I stay away from anything with over a 2 second cast time, since I want my shammy to maintain the ABC's. That is Always Be Casting.

Eh it was a long shot but it looks like I should avoid AE slows and just settle for Incapacity on adds until the chanter gets them. Appreciate the input.

I went with the Sluggishness/SlowProcBelt on Tank and just slowing current target (Languid on) for my Shaman. Definitely the simple way.

If you want though, you can check with conditions if you have Languid Bite purchased with ${Me.AltAbilityReady[Languid Bite: Enabled]} and buy/un-buy it with the KA command feature "/alt buy 861" You can see how KA can be set up to buy & use AA in this Glyph of Destruction purchase post.
