Problem - Shaman Q on Self only

I am trying to set it up so that my shaman only casts Quiescence on himself. It seems that the |Me command is not making this happen. The shaman keeps casting Q on the main tank. Since I have a cleric HOT on him, all the shaman does is spam Q on the tank until the tank gets over the health threshold for Q. He does this when he should be slowing the mob, not trying to Q the tank!

The main use I have for Q is right after the shaman uses Cannibalize, I want him to Q himself. I don't need him Qing the entire group because I have a cleric for that. Is there a way to set that up?

Wouldn't you still want the shaman to heal the MT with Quiescence in certain situations? Like is the cleric has aggro or is out of mana? Isn't there a condition that can check to see if the MT already has a HoT on him before casting Quiescence?

I am assuming the fixed version of KA is just fixing the |Me part and not the spell override issue, can correct me if I am wrong and it does fix the other part too.

The fix just fixes the me tag, and skip casting on other characters. If you want to cast the same spell on the MA and just ME. You can create 2 entries for the
Quiescence and use the MA tag on one and the Me tag on the other.

Gotcha, but is there anyway for the shaman to check the MT or any player for an existing HOT on them from say a cleric before casting Quiescence? Since it wont overwrite it.

conditions will using I believe
Rich (BB code):
${Target.Buff[Quiescence].Stacks}
I might be wrong though

The problem is, you are not always targeting the character you are going to heal at the time you start to cast the heal. Conditions are tested way before the actual heal target is acquired. The reason is because of the tap and mob tag. The actual Spawn.ID is passed to the cast routine, so your target could be a spawn other than the one that will be healed.

Would something like this work (untested) ? :

Rich (BB code):
Heals1=Quiescence|70|MA
HealsCond1=${Spawn[${SHealThem}].Buff[Quiescence].Stacks}
