server help

i have 2 questions here

1: before i've said that i couldnt get past the login screen and i still havent gotten any help so just wonderin if anyone knows why it freezes after i enter info, maybe i need another LS account?

2: is there a guide anyone knows of THAT WORKS because i've tried that one from eqemulator.net and that wont work cause i cant find the monster DB anywhere and the command console wont work, it says "This program has been disabled by your administrator" which nobody disabled anything at all.

if anyone could help me here, that'd be great and once i get server up (if i can :p ) then i'll let ya know!!!

on #2, you're trying to make your own server?

yeah, its possible, says so on eqemulator.net but that guides really out dated but i have seen some stuff on it other places

i think that website i posted is outdated cause 1, most links dont even exist and 2, it says a lot of stuff that would be complicated to do :/

i made and LS account and still couldnt log in but i'll figure it out sooner or later, i think there is either a space in the eqhost.txt file but when i check its not or i'm doin somethin with the properties wrong or something but i'll try the guide later now that i actually have a LS account :P

Clr.. so when you put in your information into the login screen (EqEMU LS username / password) it just locks up? Or shoots you to an empty server select screen?

ya, im new to red guides, but, i got into the server, problem is... i cant dye any of my armor, and the world around me is gone, except for WoS.... so.... what do i need to do? and how do i fix it???

it doesnt really "freeze" on me but all it says is "Logging into server....Please wait" and nothing else, even after (yes >.<) 30 mins
