This was the first thing that came to mind when I read the announcement (I didn't know they had transfers before). I would imagine that flag would be strictly on the account level and not tied to the characters themselves, but who knows.

For the first time I can recall I see an Extra Life bonus that I want and I don't know why but Cobalt the Riding Dog amuses me. Bad job putting the Gold Beanie on a blonde model.

If they allowed for the racial options to be active on TLP without having to unlock the most recent expansions then it would be worth something. How they implement it though is just another cash grab for established players that want a "change". At this point in the game they should just unlock every race/class combo for those with the most recent live expac.
As always, I'm just asking for *stuff to do*. Give us 8 dungeons, give us dailies/weeklies that are more than just currency for a type 5 and a bag.
Live shouldnt run out of stuff to do.

Agreed, it's not an "expansion" without content
seems like they've been doing 2 expacs each in older expansion themes: kunark, velious, Luclin, and now pop, with a couple exceptions in TBL and TOB
yeah they did ask players years ago what they wanted - full new stuff or "hint of nostalgia" with revisits, and they got feedback that folks wanted "new stuff in familiar ways" kind of thing.
TBL was actually planes focused too
EQ lore/pantheon is one of the coolest things it has going for it, so i think there's some merit to the new stuff in familiar ways - we just need shit to do lol
the carrot stick needs to be more than just type 5s and ore-tier raid gear.
the single progressive gear item isn't enough content imo - I skipped doing the mask this round and I ran out of content pretty fast.
I dunno, i'm not sure i'd say we've even done a revamped pop.

Modern raid mechanics for PoP would be kind of cool. Aside from a brief stint in PoFire for a TBL mission and CoD in TBM, don't think we've seen much revamped from PoP
