Problem - Scribe macro crashing EQ

Tried it with all the plugins loaded that I normally use. Crashed on two different characters.

Purged all plugins except; Nonagwindows, melee, map, EQBC, chatwindow, randomstuff, autologin, and eqbugfix.......

These are known to be innocuous.

Anyone else have issue?

I suppose I will try a plugin clean next time...........

All these changed so it could easily be MQ2

Also could be an out of date custom UI too

NO custom UI. EQ Standard..... did not change anything from before update.


Will start looking at the code. Sym is it's parent. I will not post any adjusted code prior to contacting Sym.......... IF I can, with my feeble skill, even code a work around. Wish me luck.

EDIT Just looked at Sym's profile.... It has been a year since any activity... I do hope he has not gone away. This is a truly inspired piece of code......

It's the same issue they are having with the itemdisplay. I dont believe it is the macro or MQ2 related even. There will be another patch today once they figure out what they broke. Most people cannot link or inspect an item at the moment. Is it coincidental DBG broke a patch on 4/20?

Have you updated to the 4/23 compile?

what classes and level were they? Where where and what vendor you buying spells?

Interesting, my file says 4/22. Did not realize there was another update.
beastlord was trying to buy level 1 to 25 spells in POK and wizard was buying 1 to 10 spells also in POK. Both toons are level 45. The wizard may have already had few spells, beastlord is brand new.

If the 4/23 update was to fix this... my bad

I had it crash on me last night with the new compile on my 95 warrior in argath. On live as well. I didn't try it on my other toons after he crashed.
