Sabotage! (Hard) -- Easy 190+hp rewards

Didn't work for me the first 2 times i tried also. just tried a few mins ago and was able to when 1. I had my mouse in center of screen and was <zoomed in all the way> (not in third-person view). Don't know if that effects it but might be able to try that =)

Hmm, could you specify what exactly wasnt working? I'm always in third-person and I never make a point to put the mouse cursor anywhere specific before running the mac. Its been working flawlessly for me each time. The only thing I can think of is if you are lagging and the /delays arent long enough maybe?

Umm It just kinda skipped the shrine. Tried to do turn in. Could possibly been lag. Two box to have enough to get mission. Works great now tho.

When the first toon did the mission it went off fine except all alters finished but mission said only 3 of 4. Brought first toon back with last stone ran mac again and did whole run but did not leave 4th stone. Loaded up new toon with stones zoned in ran mac said all stones finished but mission said 3/4. Removed mission and loaded new stones ran it and went great till end. Said I got exp but didn't think its mission not your mac.... same for other toons..... thinking one toon was 69 so might have someting to do with it but am 99% sure ran mission with same toons last night fine

just FYI i have been running this all day today ..

and that happened to me twice.. and i dump the Mission and get a new one..

7 min later i am done 8-)

what i would like to know.. anyone got any tricks for looting the chests?

this is how i played this today

get mission.. have Necro cast rune .. Zone in and FD

Necro stays FD whole time

Bard .. Sings Rune song .. zones in

/cast DA song

/mac SAB

bard does Turn ins and exits mission. nad turns off mac

NECRO is watching for the roamer.. and to pull the summoner XXXXX mob away if he happens to come to ZI

necro stands opens chest.. and FD

Necro stands checks chest for loot .. and FD

then i decide whoneeds the loot..

and its a little game to get them in zone..
timing roamer, lag and zoning time etc etc..

just wanted to post todays runs on loots.. so you all could get an idea

Blood Rage Voodoo Doll X 1 <-- waste if hard range item better
Bloodforged Earring X 0
Cocoon Skin Band X 2
Stumpy's Stomp Boots X0
Tempered Hive Bracelet X 0

FRIGGIN druids can get a few nice loots outa this mission

/grumble grumble

8-)

If you're having problems with it skipping Altars, I'd imagine its just lag. Try adding a half second to the delay. With an 18 second DA you should have plenty of time to work with. =)

i wouldn't mess with it .. the Cleric and bard DA is only 18 sec.. so more delay = chance DA runs out..

It works fine 8-)

army

Could someone advise me please...

I 2 box a monk and chanter... is it better to use the monk with the higher hp, FD, and a rune cast on him by chanter? Or, just use the chanter, with Ethereal Rune/Eldrich rune combo (giving, i think, 3450 hp in runes)?

I doubt FD will matter much since the macro only takes a few seconds to run, then zones you out. And you cannot do hand-ins while FD.

So I would say it depends greatly on the survivability differences between your chanter and monk. I can usually survive doing it on my chanter without DA using Rune of Shadows, Epic 2.0 clicky, and about 11k hp buffed.

Use the Chanter with all runes up and Mind over Matter engaged. Pretty much any class can do this without DA (assuming qvic-level gear) if they have a Rune put on them and have some sort of mitigation ability (or spell).

Did this the whole day, with my clr bot and my little army.
Also between the runs I camped a named close there.

Was some nice fun,

Had drop:
--Hard Version--
Group reward (everyone in the group receives this)
Priest/Caster - Dripping Grimcoat Earring
Melee - Drachnid Exoskeleton Fragment

Chest Rewards (confirmed):
Crystalline Webbing of Avoidance X 0
Crystalline Webbing of Gracefulness x 3
Drachnid Candle X 2
Molted Drachnid Chitin Pants X 1
Silk Handled Hammer X 2

--Normal Version--
Group reward (everyone in the group receives this)
Priest/Caster - Hivegrime Stone of Gracefulness
Melee - Hivegrime Stone of Swiftness

Chest Rewards (unconfirmed, source=Shaman's Crucible DoD progression page):
Blood Rage Voodoo Doll X 1 <-- a waste indeed
Bloodforged Earring X 1
Cocoon Skin Band X 2
Stumpy's Stomp Boots X 3 <----I love those
Tempered Hive Bracelet X 2

Named close there, drops today:

Blade of Nightshade(something like this) x 0
a neck item 100hp/mana loot droppable x 2
a minor shadowspine rune x 1
a greater shadowspine rune x 1

Upgraded my party nicely.

On how to do the mission.

My clr does the work,
-I go to Sintal, Hail

-Dot Heal clr, a big one. to make him live after zoneing in, if immediate aggro occurs till I actually can do something.

-say ready to Sintal

-inside DA etc etc

-Back outside same procedure(Big Dot Heal)

-then go in, if no aggro Hail, open and loot and/or leave
-if going in and aggro: 2 options.
-option 1. ---->roamer aggro---> Hail and leave
-option 2. ---->summoned minion aggro---->Hail and run on bridge till defnitely out of aggro range for another zonein and jump of the bridge
(most likely dieing in stoneroot then) but easy to recover the body and most likely no minion near ZI

-last but not least the one who should get loot, same as above except replace hail with loot where aplicable

Only ran this 3 times so far and macro ran great. Aftr macro is finished I can not find chest to loot extra item. Can some give a little more detail on looting chest? Does the chest only appear if nobody gets group loot?

BTW I did try to /target wooden...no spawns

TIA

maybe someone can help...iam getting in and running the macro and all is well and working great but when i zone back in to hail sintal i just get some text about not wanting to talk to me and iam not recieving anything...please help...thanks

For those not getting the chest, are you hailling Sintal in Stoneroot BEFORE you zone into the hive? Its a required checkpoint for the task, and must be done before the dampening stones are turned in.

After hailing him outside, zoning in and running the macro, then you hail the inside version of Sintal and the chest pops right in front of him.

after i get the stones i hail sintal and just get text i get no task stage complete but when i say ready i zone in...is this a faction issue ?

Sounds like it probably is faction. If someone else in your task has high enough faction, they should be able to do the hail to update. Then say "ready" with the one you want to take inside to run the macro.

I'm dubious to Sintal, and I can hail him just fine. Hail him right after you talk to Calisan and he should respond to you. Then once you've run the mac and zoned back out, zone in and hail him inside and the chest spawns. I've been doing this for 2 days now and have gotten some really incredible upgrades. My Red Cents have already gone to Persnickety! Super awesome macro.

Abbridged version...

1. Hail Calisar
2. Say accomplish
3. Get stones
4. Hail Sintal (even though he does not like me)
5. Cleric casts 1100 hp@tick HoT on me
6. Say ready (Start zoning in)
7. When in zone if not being hit start macro.
7.a If being hit warp to floor wait a few sec, warp back to Sintal, start macro
8. Now I am back in Stoneroot
9. Hail Sintal (Still does not like me)
10. Say ready
11. If not be hit, Hail Sintal
11a. If being hit warp to floor, wait a few sec, warp to Sintal, hail Sintal

Should the chest appear now...is the chest tied to faction responses?

What I did to make it easier for me, and to make the people around in Stoneroot not see me zone in and out alot.. I changed the last line of the macro so instead of zoning out it just fades me. That might be easier for you guys. Don't know if you are having problems with the mobs following you to the entrance though. I have been able to do this and then after I zone back in from /fade hail the guy and the chest will spawn. I do not have enough faction to get him to speak with me when I get the quest in the first place.

Tried normal (not hard) and got chest, of course it was only for Dru,Monk os Bst and I did not have any of those is group...

But at least I know I can make it work. Thx and here comes another red one...

dubious here also but still just go away responses from both and when zoning back in hailing AND NO CHEST JUST GO AWAY....BAH...i have tried with 3 different characters and still not working for me...any help greatly appreciated
also with my rogue i can sneak behind both cali and sintal and go threw the whole emotes and still not getting reward or chest

At the first 3 Mission (hard)i got a second chest but evrytime it was the hammer.
Than i do a normal mission and got also a second chest to spawn.

BUt only this 4 times. Someone got also this little nice feature and know how?

I dont have any clue what i have changed.

I zone in hit DA start macro and second Char stand at entrance and hail Sintal when Cleric zoned out.

man , there is player just sitting in front of the NPC that gives out this mission. I can't figure out what the hell he is doing. He will get up and run around then sit back down in front of the npc. I never see him hail or speak to calisar just sit his big ass in front of calisar. Pissing me off. I dont trust him. BTW, the few times that I have been able to run this macro it worked flawlessly! got my red cents for sure!

crys showed me some nice mobs to hunt while playing there..

of course Since using MQ2 My boxing skills have gone to shit..

AND i have yet to get a macro for each of my bots so they can do their job.. lol

BUT hell .. live and learn he he

Awesome

Wow man this is awesome. Did the mission a total of 4 times last night. Going to be doing it a lot more today. Macro worked perfect. On my 3rd try i had some trouble with crashing. I was dead when i logged back in to guild hall. But anyways i did this on my 70 clr with time/oow/god gear and it was simple, i just zone in, DA, then run the macro. However, i found it was easier to use my necro to zone in while DA and fd to get the loot out of the chest, because the summoner kept being a hassle for my clr. I haven't seen any of the loot all of you guys have posted, the ones i have gotten so far were a soothing web or somethin(2mana regen aug), a voodoo wand(primary for clr/dru/shm/nec/wiz/mag/enc that is 12 to most stats 130hp/mana 12 to resists and theft of thought in combat), and some hardened drachnid silk boots(10 to stats 115hp/mana and nice resists). Best loot i have seen yet was the wand, gonna surprise my friend with it when he logs on his necro heh. Anyway thanks so much for the macro man worked like a charm for me, only snags i had were crashes. Red cents for you!

I may be a little confused, but what would be the purpose of running this mac over and over again other than to equip other toons? I never really watched for the xp hit though.

Another question I have is about the charm. There has been a couple different things said about it. Does anyone know ( and is able to confirm ) how the charm works, and what the effects are? Thanks.

charm is effected by how many light sources you have... less light = better stats

as for why to run it over and over... to get alts some good upgrades is why i do it ..

and i have been hookin up guildies with the instant loot.

as for vynd's loot .. i would assume your average lvl of your grp is not 70.. is that correct?

if you can let us know what lvl of your grp was... that would put a whole new bracket of loots to get.. he he ...

BTW i use all 69-70 toons... i added 1 LVL 60 .. and it would not even list the hard mission... so ... just as a FYI on it

Still a great MISSION for loots

BTW no EXP .. at all .. none.. Zero .. Ziltch ..

Ok I was able to shroud 3 toons down to 65 and get a new loot table. Got a +2 mana regen aug from chest and like 125 hp range slot. Seemed like a downgrade from the 70 one.

Note.. this could also be done by casting clr aa DA on somone, or by using a paladin DA. Also I am sure fd classes could do it fine.

For those that do not get the chest ..... You Must Hail Sintal Inside the Instanced Zone... not the one outside I do both because I am lazy and don't want to figure out if you have to hail outside but I do know you have to hail inside.

found i was having problems until I opened my bags before starting this. If they were all open, I got all 4 done with no problems. If the macro had to open my bags, I always missed one chest.

There might be a more elegant way to macro picking up the stones without having to open all the bags, and if someone knows of it, please share. =)

I just added the bag opening because I always forgot to do it myself, then I'd stand there being beaten on while it tried to click a bag window that wasnt open.

When you are having problems is it opening all your bags? And can you tell which Altar its skipping (if its consistantly skipping the same one)?

What I do... Keep stones in a base slot (backpack slot), put backpack slot on hotkey bar (prolly isnt needed but hey i havent looked into this very much.)

Comment out the open bag portion of the script posted in first page. Resave, Rerun - runs flawlessly every time. Up to 6 candles so far and a ton of other drops which have rotted from the start :)

Yes, putting the stones in a base inventory slot definitely removes the need to open bags. I just didnt want to force that upon everyone, since some people carry 8 containers and such. =)
