This has been patched.


There is a group mission in Overthere that you can use to farm spells and T1 gear. It's called Fell Foliage

Zone in, kill the first mob - cake. The 2nd mob, Cactiikii, will pop and you'll need to kill him. He's similar to the named "a monstrous succulent" in OT. Burn him down and then take care of the add. If you succeed, a chest will pop.

Drop the task before you open the chest!!

Get your loot, drop task, rinse and repeat.

Hurry and get your loot before they "fix" it.

Not sure if there will be a fix or not... maybe... This is how EOK missions are done as well to farm the augs and t2 gear... Korsa/Lcea/Droga are exactly the same way since they came out like that

Droga can be done in 5 mins with Mage DA. this is just simply Droga 2.0 farm imo
 
i just got back to live not familiar with droga lcea or korsa missions could you elaborate and thanks for the tip on fell foilage id redcent but i seem to be out :)
 
He's saying it's similar to the group missions for EoK in those zones. Most of those missions are similar to Grannus where you just burn the mob and then drop task and open the chest. Zone out and you can do it again. We get at least 1 or 2 spells each time.
 
correct and the eok missions each has a certain type of aug..that will drop for that mission
 
Well when I logged in this morning there were about 60 people standing around the quest giver so I bet it has a lot to do with people farming it. It always happens when people abuse it. And I did say "hurry before they fix it". :D

I'm still confused as to why DBG is going so hard on this... didn't everyone do this in EoK for an entire year straight?
 
It wasn't this that was the problem... it was that people actually were somehow jumping into a raid instance with a regular level mob. They got raid loot for killing the regular mission mob. That's what really pissed them off.
 
Unfortunately everyone else who didn't touch the raid portion still got heavy suspensions.

Ah well that makes a little more sense.
 
All bans and shit aside.. Are melee heavy groups screwed in this mission, or can my war/clr/bst/3xber burn through? Maybe I just have to blow the dust off my wizards :p
 
I was able to run the mission once before it was taken out. My group setup is all melee and I was able to burn it down just fine.
 
Finally ran this mission today.
Has anyone been banished by Cacti?
I got a strange emote about "You think your sneaky! you've angered the great Cactiicii or w/e his name is.
Then BAM im out in the middle of the zone all alone!
WTF Caci I wasnt intending to be sneaky lol
 
It cant a dps issue.
Just ran it again after lockout timer was up.

This run within 5 seconds of starting fight Cleric got banished to the Canyon and murdered by Skorps
 
Make sure you have a good mesh, use this in a hotkey

I use this all the time when I run KISS in chase mode and 1 or 2 toons decide to stay behind for whatever reason. Note, if your NAV mesh doesn't work well in the zone and you hit that button, instead of your toon running the easy path straight to you, it might do a path completely unexpected and bring a huge train to you.

This is what got people suspended.
