Problem - RK. III spells issue

On my rogue I have thief's sight Rk. III but I am free to play now so it only casts the rk. I buff. The name still says rk. III on the button but the buff is rk. i and so rgmercs is chain casting, I assume because it wants the rk. III version my button shows I have. Is there a way around this?

The easiest stopgap solution is to disable the buff in your rotation UI on the class tab.

Another potential solution is to customize the config to change the buff conditions to specifically look for the rank 1 buff instead. Instructions on creating a custom config are in your FAQs in-game, we could help you out with the actual needed changes in discord sometime. I don't intend to permanently alter defaults to address this situation.

Lastly, if it's possible to delete them, you can get rid of the ability and learn the rank 2 (if you have purchased the unlocker), or the rank 1 (if not). I'm not necessarily recommending it, simply stating the options.

Do you get an error when it tries to cast the Rk II or Rk III of a spell?

Nah its just that one buff. I turned it off, should be easy to modify the ini, I will look at that thanks guys!

I'm testing an adjustment now that should handle this automatically.

Cheers. There was a way to detect what rank would be spit out (Me.SpellRankCap) that I wasn't aware of when I said the other stuff.
