Question - Rgmercs (LUA) - Merc suspended after a rez

Hi guys,

I am running this on my SK, with a melee dps merc. Whenever it dies, Rgmercs revives him, and then immediately suspends it (starting another 5 minutes timer).

The only way to prevent this is pausing Rgmercs and manually reviving the merc, then unpausing it (in that case, the Merc will stay). I guess I could also turn off merc control, but I like it best when is done automatically.

Do you know what could be causing this please? Is not a big deal, but a bit annoying when I forget to pause it.

Examining the code, it could've been processing fast enough to click again before the client registered the merc as alive again. I've added a delay after clicking the revive button to prevent that possible double-tap (this delay will return early if the mercenary no longer registers as dead).

Please let me know if this continues to be an issue and I will gladly do more in-depth testing/analysis.

It may take up to an hour for RG to process the update.

I'm not sure this is only a rgmerc thing (if at all) because it happens with my sk who isn't running rgmercs. When I manually revive or unuspend my merc (usually only the first time per session) it immediately suspends again I wait the five minutes and unsuspend and it works. Also curious if this remains an issue for you after the update.
 
Its not an RGMercs only thing - Used happen randomly when I used mercs with MuleAssist as well. Not sure if the code is related at all.
 
I tried a few times yesterday and the issue still happens when running Rgmercs (but not when reviving manually with Rgmercs paused). Are there any other plugins running at the same time as Rgmercs that could be causing this?

Any other plugins or scripts would be a question only you could answer.
I will play with it the next time I am on live! Maybe I can find a tighter set of checks or identify a bug in our code (or elsewhere).
I would prefer to use my test characters for that, and test MQ is still in work, so it will be a few days.

Ah sorry, I meant if Rgmercs actually activates other plugins or scripts when running (e.g. I noticed it disables MQ2Melee, but not sure if it enables anything else when running).

As far as I know this is the only one I have running when the issue occurs - but I am pretty new on MQ stuff so I could be wrong :)

No worries.
Nah, shouldn't be an issue then.
The action behind this comes strictly from an MQ command to click the block.
If it was another script, it would be trying to click the block with mercs paused.
