Question - redirect tells

is it possible to redirect tells to a different toon while running KA?

You can use MQ2EQBC and have all your toons connect, then /bccmd set tellwatch on I believe. You will then see the tell in your Mq2 or EQBC window. To reply you would just type /bct TOON1 //tell TOON2 hello there

yeah i know you can do that but was wondering if i coold run team 2 and team 3 and if any of them get a tell redirect it to my main in team 1. all teams would be running sepperate instances of EQBC

you don't have to run seperate instances of EQBC. If you only used 1 instance then you could do what EQGeek suggested.

Right, the only issue with NOT running multiple EQBC and only using 1 is that any commands you issue to team 1 will go to team 2 and any other teams you have up.

There is another plugin called MQ2Relaytells, but I haven't used it. I might try testing it and see if it works. http://www.redguides.com/community/showthread.php/24792-MQ2Relaytells

yeah thats why i ended up using different instances of EQBC, alth i do believe you can have channels and not sure if you could have each team on a separate channel, also the BCG command makes using one instance a possibility i may play around with
in meantime will have a look at mq2relaytells thanks EQGeek

The /bcg and /bcga command.

/bcg
This command will only be sent to group members other than the character issuing the command that are connected to the EQBC server.
It will be ignored by any other character connected to your EQBC server not in that group.
Ignores mercenaries.

/bcg //Sit

Would make everyone in the group sit EXCEPT yourself

yeah am slowly getting used to using the bcg command and reset most of my hotbuttons to use it. But even if i get down to using one instance of EQBC i would still miss the tells in amongst the other spam in the mq2 window, Also at times im playing a character on which im not running mq2.

I thought about creating a channel and having all my toons autojoin at login, however F2P members cant join channels except newplayers so rules that idea out. i remember seeing on someones KA ini something about popupsbut cant find much about that anywhere.

Fellowship channel works for this issue.. F2P players can use that channel ... (at least it did 5 months ago when i used it).

problem there is that they are in different zones or areas of zones and each group needs their own campfire
