How do I get kissassist to rebuff individual toons which lost there buffs either from a debuff hitting them or death? Ie paladin puller dies needs fresh buffs from chanter, cleric, shaman, druid. Right now it seems they do nothing unless they loose their buffs anyway to do this?

Make sure RebuffOn=1 is set. and there is 20 second timer between when current buffs are written to the KissAssist_Buffs.ini file. Once a buff drops and the ini file is updated, then the casters should see the character needs a buff and cast it on who needs it..

I double checked and all the ini files have Rebuffon=1, and even after waiting more than 5 minutes nothing from other toons in group. Now I only included the buffs they could cast in the ini files and not all the buffs they want. So for example my paladins buff section is:

BuffsOn=1
Buffs1=Staunch Stance Rk. II
Buffs2=Ardent Fury Rk. II
Buffs3=Armor of Formidable Spirit Rk. II
Buffs4=Brell's Stalwart Bulwark Rk. II
Buffs5=Preservation of the Iceclad Rk. II
Buffs6=Remorse for the Fallen Rk. II
Buffs7=NULL
Buffs8=NULL
Buffs9=NULL
Buffs10=Silent Piety
Buffs11=Blessed Aura|Aura
Buffs12=NULL
Buffs13=NULL
Buffs14=NULL
Buffs15=NULL
Buffs16=NULL
Buffs17=NULL
Buffs18=NULL
Buffs19=NULL
Buffs20=NULL
RebuffOn=1
ChecKBuffsTimer=20
Buffs1=NULL
PowerSource=NULL

Darkmax, What you need to do to see if the ini file is being refreshed correctly. After you have waited for buffs that you think should be recast. Go and edit the Kissassist_buffs.ini file

To find out your ID so you can tell which entry is the character you are checking on. at the command line in EQ use /echo ${Me.ID}. Use that number and look in the ini file for the [#####] section and see if the buff you should have is in the list or not..

Playbetter thanks that was an oversight on my part - removing it did not however change the behavior.

ctaylor ok checked the kissassist_buffs.ini file they all seem to be writing to it and updating it as buffs change but still no rebuff unless the caster of that buff looses their own buffs. I'm sure it's something simple in my set up which is wrong just don't know what.

After making some changes to the ini file I have discovered that as long as I use individual buffs instead of group buffs this doesn't happen. And everyone will get buffed up when something is missing.

If your having troubles with Toons rebuffing Group buffs you could always do some special notations to "force" them to check.

You could use the |MA, or |Melee and |Caster notations after the buffs, and just list the buff 2 or 3 times, This can sometimes help with some of those stubburn buffs, but doesn't work well with the ones that you need to use the |dual| notation on.
