Raz's AFNuke2 for 105 Fire Wizies

Will this work using a mage pet as the tank ?

I have all the files installed - Wiz loaded up all spells - but on incoming only fires off AA's and does not cast any spells .

Any ideas why this is ?
 
Have you got the mage targeted or his pet? I think it should be the mage.. but I am regularly wrong. So my ex-wife told me and she was always right.
 
I don't think so... It doesn't play nicely with a tank merc, so I would assume there's some wonkiness with pet tanks, as well. Once I added a real tank it worked REALLY well.
 
How do they know what macros to use?

kinda easy. you set it up with the parameters so ''/startmacro afnuke2. That will save the macro to be used for that character.

so now I want to set up my tank right? /startmacro ka pullertank.

now for the cleric. /startmacro afb

so on etc, then once that's done it's simply a EQBC command to start all 6 toons (mostly) individual macro's with one social. /startmacro initiates whatever you setup, and you can modify it the same way you initially set it up.
 
okay pretty new to all this, so please excuse me if this is noobish. Heroic wizzy seems to run to corpse after every kill. Loot is set to 0. setup a leash to see if it would stop it but nope. still tries to run to corpse every time. yes he does leash back like he is suppose to but still runs say 10 ft or so to corpse and back. anyway to fix this?


EDIT: Think I figured it out, its actually something with my the way my loot file is setup. it was automatically selecting the wizzy as ML for some reason. so for now i just turned off GMLselect in ninja. ill work on adjusting that tomorrow.

every thing else seems to be working correctly as stated before , he will mem all listed spells , but on incoming only fires off his AAs and does not cast spells . even the leash option works perfectly .

any ideas why he wont cast his spells tho ?
 
So.

A couple of things I want to summarise for those that don't read back and see that 4 pages of this so far is Raz repeating his instruction.

First thing to point out is that this macro is fucking awesome. If you have a wizard, you should be using this.

Read the instructions that come with the files.

All the files except "server_toonname.ini" go into the macros folder. "server_toonname.ini" goes into the release folder.

Tank mercs dont work with this macro. Use a real tank. You can edit the ini to include his name and add up to 2 other tanks.

When your wizard casts theres a good chance he/she will run forward a few paces when the mob dies. Use leash to hook him up to a toon that wouldnt normally move more than he would (Clrs are good and CC too ((unless the CC is the puller, then switch your brain on). This is not an issue with this macro. Its an mqcast thing (if you can fix it so that mqcast doesn't do this, then you're a coding genius).

Make sure you're loading the mac appropriate for your use. For example, if you're using the 85 lvl one ... /mac AFNuke85 is the way to go; for lvl 100, then /mac AFNuke100. And finally for lvl 105 /mac AFNuke2

If it's still not working, then do a hard reboot of your system.

Don't faff with the macro/spells, unless youre a coding genius. Raz and his guildies have spent blood sweat and tears on this work.

Don't have your wizard as a looter. His job is to nuke the shit out of mobs. Get focus items for them (arms, hat etc) from the highest zones you can to take advantage of their boost to dps.

This macro will do amazing dps against real mobs. It's shit if youre trying to kill a dummy in a GH, so don't bother trying.

Bards are fucking awesome in a wizard group.

There are no more Rimblasts to be had here, if that's what you're after, please move along.

If you've another problem, read through the previous 7 pages of posts. Raz responds to them all with solutions. And to be honest I have been watching his post count and I worry that he is wearing out his keyboards unnecessarily.

Don't forget to reward the Razkle. He deserves everything he gets for this effort. :hfive: (my cheque's in the post)

Ok, For those like me that were trying to use anything but an actual PC tank and getting that weirdness with casting the AAs and pausing. I to tried putting the name of my Beastlord/tankmerc/pet in the ini and nothing worked. Today, as soon as i gave up and logged in a PC tank instead of the beastlord the Macro started working flawlessly.

It is confirmed, This macro will not work with anything other then a PC Tank. If you are not using one then dont even bother trying it simply wont work.

That being said, i really am not interested in firing up additional accounts with how sporadically i play. But i have to say that after a couple of hours with this macro this morning, i am overly impressed with the DPS it puts out. I have a crappy silver 105 mage in a mix of RoF/CoTF t1 gear and he simply just melted mobs today. So well in fact that i am seriously considering boxing more accounts then i want to just because the dps is that nice. I could only imagine what this macro does on a wizard that has some gear/focuses/spells or much less several wizards.
 
Razkle - You have done it again - fired up an 85 heroic wizzie for shits --- doing like 10k dmg to DEEP red mobs, took me all of 30 seconds to get him going too

just set mine up - what files did you drop in your macro section?

As long as you have all of the files where they need to be and you did the AFNuke85gem you can just target your tank and /mac AFNuke85

I got mine nuking within 30 seconds

Couple of things I can't explain at the moment is that the chars dismount and wont stay mounted no matter how many times I manually cast the mount. Also they get stuck casting Harvest as in spamming and cancelling the spell and i have to demem the spell to stop it. I also notice them casting and cancelling and recasting and cancelling nukes in a loop? Not sure what I am doing wrong?

Having the same issue with the mount and standing. If I don't have a mount specified in the INI file, my character won't sit. If I try and make them sit, they immediately stand. At first I thought this must be some downshit/holyshit in mq2melee, but unloaded it and have the same issue. If I end the afnuke2 macro, I can go back to sitting again. If I do have a mount specified, after every kill by my MA, the character will unmount and then immediately remount themselves. I don't remember having these issues before the last MQ2 code drop earlier this week.

Also, since I know there was some wonkyness with the character running afnuke2 jumping forward after a kill that was "fixed" with an update to the spell_routines.inc include file, I manually extracted the spell_routines.inc file from the latest MQ2 "Very_Vanilla_Compile_20160616.zip" file into my ../Release/Macros directory, but still didn't resolve the issue.

Bumping for Raz: Any ideas?

I've noticed the harvest spam happen usually after a death. I've fixed this by ending the macro and hitting escape a few times, by manually sitting, and by using Quiet Miracle on the wizard to give him a boost of mana.

The casting and cancelling, Do you have max AA? Raz made this script for a max AA wizard. As I have gained more and more for my wizard I have noticed that issue occurring less and less. Pretty sure it has to do with the macro having specific timing, but your spells not being ready to cast.
 
Somewhere in my mac is a harvest check that has 1 letter off and is not skipping if it is not ready! It is driving me crazy! need to look into it and stop it!
 
the ready was modified hmmm as I recall the TLO was changed to cast.ready from me.sellready, I just missed it on the nuke100 I think, I bet the 100 one never fires as that is the old TLO
 
Cast.Ready is part of the MQ2Cast Plugin and Me.SpellReady is part of MQ2. Now Cast.Ready takes into consideration AA's, Memed Spells, and Item Clicky. While Me.SpellReady only looks at your Spell Gems.
 
and the thing that is fireing wrong is the spell not the AA, it also uses the AA version and the forceful rejuv

Sounds like he is trying to click on the corpse to loot. Make sure you are using the advloot system for the new features in ninjadvloot 6 to work properly. Else he will run to the corpse, click on the corpse to loot and then loot old school. None of the newer features I am working with ninjadvloot 6 will function with old school looting.

Hate to bump this, but may have gotten lost in the shuffle here. Any ideas why the last MQ2 update seems to have introduced this issue with mounts/sitting (at least for me)?

The harvest spamming is not afnuke2, it is spellroutines, not my proggy but I am reading through it to find the error....

I already checked MQMelee and unloaded the plugin. Here are the only 2 holys in my INI file though:

Again, if I try and sit while running the afnuke2 macro, I will immediately stand. Also, after every mob death, if I am mounted, it dismounts me and then immediately remounts. I did not have this issue before the last MQ2 compile, but it's 100% reproducible now. If I don't run the macro, the sit/stand behavior goes back to normal.
 
Tested this today on my 104 wiz he doesn't have max aa and stuff but I added the dps parser code from kiss to compare them in a fair way.
I will post my 104 files and stuff later as well as some parses from kiss and this macro so we can see how they compare with the same spell lineup in case anyone wants to try it out.

I had to edit spell_routines.inc to use the new CastTime member .Float to make that thing work with new mq2 but other than that it was a pretty smooth setup.

I also edited out the /exchange code cause well, I don't have any items that needs to be equipped to cast and I wanted it to use my mount which is in the keyring...

Raz I propose EQMule's version be included/updated on the main page. I did file compares with what I had, Pugs's mods, and EQMule's. EQMule has /interrupt, doesn't dismount, commented out the exchange stuff (just like he said... I knowz right?), this is the one to use. Previously I would have to piece together my own from various mods throughout this epic 8 page thread...

I hate to further bloat this thread, but this really is where this belongs.

1) I noticed the wizzy wasn't very smart regarding multiple XTars, and possibly the Mez list. KA has some AI to determine which mob to kill first (if mez'd, if immune, if named, maybe others). However if the wizzy engages a pulled mob, who is the MA's target in this case cause he's pulling (pullertank), before KA can apply any of the decisions, the wizzy will be all alone on the target. I did not think I could kill the wizzy (he's using greens to PL), but alas, I can. I have set the nuke2_toonname.ini to assist at 97 rather than the default 99 and that seems to fix it. Am I thinking about all this correctly?

2) I noticed, if left to the default 15 feet for the leash, that there are times where I would see the wizzy's first cast b..b..b..b..b stutter start as if he was trying to move, and recast whatever he was casting. It would flash on the screen with great brevity. Since it looked to me like a stuck character might using Advpath, I extended the leash to 20 (or 25) and that seems to have fixed it. Again, am I thinking correctly about this?

I need to understand the inner workings of why and how, just the way I am. Please, feel free to educate me.

2. Yes, I have yet to come across a macro or plugin that deals with following intelligently, I even added some code to my version of kiss that
1. Prevent movement and
2. /echoes a debug over eqbc to my main saying "I'm not going to be an idiot and move now cause I don't have to" whenever a char thinks he should be moving even if there is a fight going on, he has line of sight and is a caster and is within range.

I hope to get that fix included into the next version of kiss (I know right, you probably think I can get anything in since I'm eqmule ;) but nope it has to go through review by maskoi and it IS tough cause he likes to keep things as simple as possible *wink*) , so I'm happy I'm not the only one that has noticed this irritation...
 
Yeah I tend to agree, the stuttering is local, if you watch the dps meter the wiz is still casting shit just not showing local except for the stutter. If 99 is too intense by all means drop it, when I had a ranger pulling I had to set it down to 90 as the rangers headshot can be deadly on a pull... Wizzie should have the holies so that if he pulls off tank he fades it...
 
Is there anyway to stop and shift target - working on a mob spawns adds every 20% - would like to shift the wizards to the adds then resume on the main target. I just can't seem to find the answer to do this with AFNuke2

Only downs in the default/supplied ini. I know it slows down DPS but I would rather him live for the time being. Anyone got a fade holy to share? I will sift through the previous pages, as well as look at the compiled INI list for KA to see if someone posted a good fade holy.
