Raz's AFNuke2 for 105 Fire Wizies

I never knew how nice it was to have a bard, but my Wizard's mana never went down... I think I might have to make one.

Yea, bard dicho seems way op, i keep expecting a nerf but keep hoping it wont happen, it just seems too powerful. I now HAVE to use my bard on both my "A" team, and my "B" team, as I cannot stand waiting on mana/energy anymore.

Do you really need a bard to crit 1mil? my wiz dinged 105 yesterday with 7600AAs and a mix of TBM and old expansions gear. Trying to get him his robe and maybe arm for fire bonus damage. With all this done, i cant seem to get more than 250K nukes with AFNuke2 all set and running.

Am i missing something?
 
Dont even need a bard to hit 1m nukes bard are pretty useless in raid scenes today for a wiz. Most guilds run them with a chanter and a druid and if you stack all the correct debuffs from all class in game you can actually hit nukes for around 2m +. My highest wiz nuke with tds raid gear with debuffs stacked correctly is 2.3 mil
 
Before the last nerf I as critting 3mil with my wiz in testing afnuke2.... now its less but still not bad, that is with a bard in the group..
 
Not sure what you are fighting but with 3 wizzies in my groups there is no time for debuffs or any such nonsense... the mob basically has time to recognize that the pullertank has stopped running and turned around to fight before it goes 100.... 99.... BAM! dead!

So far i'm stacking Chanter Tash and Mage Malos line, something else im missing?
 
You might want to buy the ethereal manipulations AA for the Enchanter. it adds a buff for wizzies who toss around Ethereal line of spells. This AA is bound to the single target TASH, and is usually applied when it hits.

is there a way to add clicky debuff like Staff of elemental Flux?
 
Is there something that can be done about the mac just stopping if the tank dies?

When my tank dies because the stupid healer merc refuses to heal for some reason ever couple of hours, the wizzies with the mac just stop. With nothing going on the mob precedes to kill each of the party one by one until there is a wipe. Then there is no rezing so the characters eat a full exp death.

I do not know what to do to fix this.

Make sure you edit the toons afnuke2 ini file and put the tank in there, what I do is put the tank in as tank and the healer as tank2 and the mezzer as tank 3 so if anyone is left he will keep pumpin out nukes until he dies
 
So tested this out with a easy raid and only 7 wizards loaded did the garden raid in hot due to pure tank n spank. The mob died in 43 seconds this is very impressive. Further testing to be done soon then i shall send them krono!
 
I'm loving this. With Druid, Enchanter, and Bard I'm hitting about 65k on average with spikes into the 120k range.
 
The 85afnuke seems to stall out when my merc is tanking but seems to start going if a real toon is tanking any suggestions?
 
I have stated this like 100 times, my mac was never tested nor intended for a merc to be the tank, so my suggestion, Make sure your tank stays vertical and drop the mercs, we are boxers, we can level the shit outta anything now!

If your tank goes down and you don't have a real cleric (a merc is not a real cleric) then you are toast....

Mercs do not rez during combat, a real cleric does....
 
Hendo I am running the same set up as well atm, with the only difference being I use Bard instead of Beast.....Curious as to the advantages of going Beast over other classes. Obviously the pet is one of them. But for me the Bard ADPS makes a huge difference.

You want bard for Dichotomic Psalm it restores 25k + mana every 60s
 
I wasn't planing on boxing 5 initally but a i wouldnt be opposed to swaping bst to bard since it doesnt seem like the BST adds a ton of dps but all my toons are still under 90 currently since i rerolled on a live server.
 
If you have a bard you can chain pull with him or with the enchanter. Chain pulling worked best when the puller was NOT the mezzer, but it can be done.
 
I'm curious, if for example you had war/ench/clr/wiz x3, would it be worth swapping one of the wizards for a bard? I'm building that team now and wondering if adding a bard would be worth it.
 
Are bards that much better than enchs? Or is it just the not running out of mana?
 
It is personal preference, I run a bard for a couple of reasons, mostly if the tank goes down the bard will off tank while the cleric rezzes the party, yeah I know chanters can sometimes tank, but I am talking about with kiss.
 
Chanters can tank with Kiss, but it just requires a tiny bit of work. Having both a chanter and a bard, I find that the chanter is better at mezzing and with Twincast Aura and Mana Recip Aura + Chromatic Haze, you'll really have some melty mobs. To better off tank with your enchanter, try turning off SCS (though this may make the tank fight too much for aggro) and try this holy:

The Rune will proc when the enchanter is hit, and you'll grab aggro when he casts his rune.

That said, Bards can mez and with their AC/Haste songs, plus caster songs and mana regen, you start to see a real benefit to a Bard. As I said in the past, bards are great chain pullers. If you had a SK/Cleric/Enc/Wiz/Wiz/Bard you could have the bard chain pull and allow the enchanter to do mezzes for you.
 
I have that one plus his 2 his two AA runes (Veil of Mindshadow, Eldritch Rune) and keep his str/rune line up (Brimstone Resolution), with his AA Reactive Runes maxed out.

When running my enchanter pulling macros for DH's (I use it to level of new/friends toons, you get XP/AA and money for items in a controlled environment!) have left it running while I play a second group elsewhere, then come check on chanter group and find the enchanter tanking 3-4 mobs while the rest of the group is down, and him just reactively casting Unity occasionally (indicating another glitch in the macro....--sigh--) Admitedly this is just trash stuff, but done similar things with current content occasionally, when the tank decided to just turn around, bend over , and scream GIMME!

Between that and the enchanter pet getting a mad boost somewhere along the SOE tweaking process, making it a decent tank in it's own right (not better then a player, but certainly better then the lowbies/merc tanks)

Course, I am biased since I understand and use Enchanters better then Bards =P
 
haveing a few issues setting this up keep gettting couldn't open macro file when typing /mac AFNuke2Gem.mac first time trying to set this up always used kissassist :(

Fixed it had to manually locate with afnuke files into macros
 
Ever since the 16th patch it has been spamming harvest even when it is on cooldown. I have been to lazy to look for a fix myself but maybe you will once ya get back
 
yeah I saw it, it is on my list to look at and fix... heheh it is not checking to see if it is available so it spams it...
 
great mac razkle , but i defiantly does not seem to be checking for cooldowns , on test it will try to cast harvest, claw ... and basically anything with a cool down, even if it is not ready . I hope it is a easy fix. and one other thing weird i have noticed. when on a mount my toon seems to move a bit after the mobs dies .... like it is it trying to close the distance on the mob.
 
New to boxing and DLd this today. SUPER easy to setup and I'm really liking it with 2 new heroic 85 wizzies!!!!

Quick question tho, after every kill, my wizzies seem to lurch forward a few feet. Nothing huge but when boxing for any length of time at all, they really start to stray from camp! Any idea what's causing this?

every OTHER afnuke I have tried either does weird pauses between casting nukes, stops working for no reason, or after a rez refuses to go back to work! Mine ran for 6 days straight no fuck-ups! Even after dying over and over! Wiz just gets back up, cracks open a fresh can of whoppass!

I do NOT however suggest you have your wiz loot as its really not his job anyway and he will run around looting when you need him to be nuking shit till it glows!
