I'm sure 99% of you know this, but in case there is one person who doesn't know about Ranja Gate in the new Frostreaver, I'll spill. Non-gating classes can simply make a level 1 char in a persona slot in the city they want to "Port" to. Say, I'm a Barb grouping in Kunark and I want to get to West Freeport. I make a Bard based in West Freeport, then as my Babrarian I use Origin to get to Halas, swap to my level 1 Bard, attack a guard an drespawn in my starting locaiton. Then I persona over to the Barbarian and I'm good to go - no exp loss for the main.
