Question - Raid / Progression Targets

I was curious to know what if any types of raids / progression events the community has had any luck in doing using KA with 1 or even 2 groups , as well as any strategies or .mac advice would be helpful.

Currently i box a group of 6 max AA lvl 105 all access characters , and like most am on a server with a low population where raiding is almost never done.

Just recently i have started looking into raid events and even progression missions in which the scripted events themselves seem to be a bottleneck for the KA user. Examples of this would be when to duck , turn , run here etc. I have tried using EQBC to help with these situations but it is still a painful process. Examples of this became evident just the other day as i was doing the TBM Grummus event in which i used EQBC to get everyone to follow me out of the barrel poison auras - with me spamming the hotkey the KA tank wanted to continue to fight , the autocleric2.0 cleric wanted to stay there and keep healing and the AFNuke2 wizards just decided its a good time to sit down and med there has got to be an easier way.

I just started looking into the MQevents.mac and am curious if this is what i should be putting time into to beat these scripted events ?

As stated any and all strategies on raid / progression events would be very helpful as well as which .mac should i be investing in ?

I would hope at some point if we all contribute enough information about raid and progression bottlenecks we could get a stickied guide thread set up for us in the strategy section.

i for 1 know judicator can be 1 grouped, 105 war, 105 shm, 105 brd, 105 cleric wiz mercs on burn max aas on mercs, max on war, close on shm, bard 10k, cleric 10k. rolfren (can) be 1 grouped, long fight but doable. same group

Allready farmed my bow staffs and planned on starting PoW access this weekend . Was just reading up on all the named and their event strings today and came up with the exact same conclusion .

Judicator is a marked mob in my book i plan to add that +10% dodge aug asap , wasnt sure about Rolfren tho - was concerned about the adds having never seen the event , but will have to give it a go now thanks much for the info .

GINA can help alot with that is setting of triggers.

when MQ2Events is working again (I hear its broke atm) you can use that to help with some of the event triggers (i.e duck). but the scripts make it very hard to box certain events...especially ones where you have split groups.

/mqp, /backoff and /switch help alot, but i usually run my Tank(Puller/MA) so getting the others to follow him is a bit easier.
also (not tested on autocleric or afnuke macs) my eqbc hot key /bcg //moveto loc ${Me.X} ${Me.Y} usually even makes my medding toons stand up and run to that spot (it's what I used on the Grummus event in TBM and made ALL achevements 1st try (NO Wizzies in my group either).

1 group?

I suggest you use plugins instead of macros. MQ2AFNuke and MQ2Heals work very well for this sort of thing. I know that seems a little odd from the author, but I use them on my wizards, clerics, and druid. I also toggle Mq2AFNuke on/off on my enchanter. On when I know I don't need CC, and off when I do... Eventually, I'll write in the mez code, and just leave it on. :)

They don't med (if you turn it off), and don't set a camp location (but you can if you like), so no leash to camp. As for the tank, I generally "drive" from the tank, and use the others to assist. It works well, but things like EoS/DoD will still be extremely difficult to box without some practice. DoD is easier with 2 tanks, and EoS is easier with insane DPS (3x wizard + mana burn at the start). They may have made EoS easier since I did it last. It's hard to get everyone in the aura. /afollow or /stick are your friends. Most of the rest are fairly easy to box. As for the raid equivalent, good luck! :)

I just;

/bcg //mqp
/bcg //bot off
/bcg //target me
/bcg //afollow

That pauses the macros and turns off the plugin I use for my healers (healers also run a macro so I can control them better). There's also a Stop Action command within EQ that you can assign a key press to if needed. WhenI get them where I want, I unpause the macro, turn the plugin back on, tell them to set camp there. Also have another key to /makecamp off, for advpath (I think) so that they aren't leashed. I have a whole set of hotkeys to control the group through EQBC as well as a duplicate set to control all of my bots.

What commands do you all use to get your tanks to stop melee for example if the named your after de-aggros at a certain life % ? Up until now i physically have to turn KA off to get him to stop attacking .

Also i need to try some of the different all follow commands listed above , currently what ive been using is /bcg //target Playername /bcg //stick on line 2 which only seems to wanna work when i spam it as fast as humanly possible ,, otherwise i have wizards sitten down , clerics healing buffen when i want them to follow me Oh and of course the tank re-engaging anything you pull him off of until its dead.
