You guys are going to get tired of me..... sorry...
I have a ranger, trying to get him to pull with bow and arrow. How?
Pull with melee works but what i do put in the pull with command line to use a bow?
looked on this website and couldnt find it, maybe missed it somewhere?
thank you

Under [Pull] In your Rangers.ini for kiss.

There is a line with,
PullWith=
You want to enter
Pullwith=Bow/item Name|Ammo Name

For my SK I use the below.
PullWith=Steamwork Compound Bow|Class 2 Wood Point Arrow

Rich (BB code):
Burn13=NULL
Burn14=NULL
Burn15=NULL
UseTribute=0
[Pull]
PullWith=bentback bow|ethernere arrow
MaxRadius=2500
MaxZRange=200
PullWait=60
PullRoleToggle=0
ChainPull=0

This is my Ranger's "ini" pull...
At level 59 you can purchase with AA points the Endless Quiver AA. Buy the most
expensive/best arrow you can, one of them, equip it and the AA will keep it replenished automatically.

Romeyo I know you got your "ini" but some members/readers may need to know....

The "ini" file we refer to is a file used to relay settings to the Parent file. A set up file.
The file is located in the,
"Wherever you have your MQ2 file"\MACROS\Kissassist_"Your Character name".ini
So your amazing Ranger's ini file name might look like this;
"C:\Users\Laptop\Desktop\mq2\Macros\Kissassist_Amazing.ini"

G'day and as always,
Playbetter

for me, its not an INI file, i have no clue about those. I know nothing about INI files.
To me, it is simply a folder with a word pad in it. On that word pad is basic commands to tell your toon what to do, thats it, just a word pad with instructions....
at least help me to think of it that way

Sounds like you may not have file extension showing for you, I recommend that you do as it allows you to change files from a text document, to pretty much anything, really easily.
Try following the directions listed in here for whatever Operating System you have: http://kb.winzip.com/kb/entry/26/

If some of those don't make sense, shoot me a PM with what Operating System you have.

I recommend you also take a look at a program called Notepad++, It provides a cleaner and more organized look for configuration files for pretty much all programs, as well as great for some programming.
Nyghteyes created a great forum post about it here: http://www.redguides.com/community/...-to-make-your-editing-multiple-configs-easier

I recommend using that as you can easily break out the different sections of the kiss configuration files when using it, so that you can more clearly see the distinctions between the different macro sections, i.e Pull, Aggro, Heals, DPS, etc.

I think Romeyo was talking about how he looks at what we call .ini files, and what he feels they do.

I could be wrong. I regularly am.

The pull with command likely looks like this:

Rich (BB code):
PullWith=melee

You need to change melee to the name of the bow you want to use | and the name of the arrow you want use.

examples

Rich (BB code):
PullWith=Steamwork Compound Bow|Class 2 Wood Point Arrow
PullWith=bentback bow|ethernere arrow

In buffs setup up a buff to summon. Here is an example:

Buffs1=Mysterious Belt of Daggers|Summon|Well Balanced Throwing Knife|200

Is there a way to have my puller, cast a Spell, then use a /disc to pull. Something like casting Echo, then Shuriken to pull, or as Enchanter cast a Calm, then something else to pull, to create single pulls in area's where things are linked. I am sorry if this is posted somewhere else, but I have to imagine I am not the only one that would want to be able to do this.

Nope. Kiss is not setup to pull in that manner.

Is there something does or can do something like this. This to me would seem like an incredible feature for those that want to setup complex routes with advpath, and you know where packs of mobs are to always pull singles. I know you can always have a mezzer, but this would add more versatility if you were looking to do something then just grind basic type of mobs. I great example would be 105's in some of the TBM area's being able to single pull everything would be great. If there isn't anything out there, I might look at what it would take to simply just write a sequencer that macro's could call.

Well, it could be added to Kiss (into Sub Pull) but it would not really be KISS anymore :)

The question is are any of those 2-step pull methods 100% reliable? If they are then it is pretty straightforward to add.

However, if say Calm can fail on mobs for Chanter then you need to add additional checks. The problem is that you would need to do a lot of debugging until you get it right.

The really big problem is that it is easy to modify KISS for your own specific use, but it ceases being a general tool that anyone can use then.

KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid.

Splitting mobs is not simple.
