Plvling Zones lvl 1-70 (BARD MACRO)+(PLVLING) (1 Viewer)

Can anyone make a list/suggestions of Non Summoning/Non Casting areas to Auto-Kite? ie: HOH (can't get camp anymore - even to camp regular)

Ever since merger on our server, I can honestly say I've never seen sooooo many obvious cheaters in game. There is no way Sony can't walk into any zone and bust a ton of people if that's what they wanted to do. I still see people z6000 killing and anyone can walk in and see the mobs running around dying.

This is rediculous, if someone is in zone and you are auto-kiting, stop at once. Don't be saying ahhhh, camp check, ahhh I got...I'll definately invis and come loot your mobs :)
 
Any chance someone could give me guide as to where I can PL alts 46-60...Like is nadox stil good like 46-55 or so... if so where is safe place you can park alts there....

Stay INVIS while bard PL's your alts

ok all hail me for being the best laziest pler lol *** vote for all i need is nominated lol

this keeps toon invisible if they have the spell so they can hang around a bard that is afk kiting

Howdy all , I'm lvling a bard and trying to find new unpopulated area's that work well with the afk bard macro. Just recently I've been in Shadeweavers thicket at lvl 12. On your way through the caves going to Paludal caverns the first right you come to there's a large rock in the middle of a decent kite area. It's out of the way with only the occasional person running by on thier way to PC. Just set up to circle around the rock and off you go. Only had an occasional caster that would screw things up , it seems the caster is on a different faction though as it didn't auto-atk with a swarm of mobs running by it. Everything else in the area did though. Alot of dark blues , with the occasional white and yellow mixed in. Was good till about lvl 14/15 then things started going light blue. Going to try some of the other caves in the area since they seem to be higher lvl ( red/yellow ) .
 
go to the souther end caves there, much higher lvl mobs. I pl'd my chanter to lvl 35 there in 2 days.

edit: be warned of the far southern cave though, the warlord is in there and at your lvl, he will pretty much crush you LOL.
 
I heard while back someone said they were kiting in KT... maybe someone could post some locs...also I been trying to kill Jaggedpine (35Bard )runnin around fire but seems slow kills anywhere to go 35-40 or JPF best bet?? ty in advance
 
Jaggedpine Forest camp is awesome really. Virtually always empty, and the poachers don't cast. Once you get to Chant of Disease, it's a breeze...
 
Here is what i'm currently doing.

1-10 New Tutorial Zone Glomming Deep. Do the Tasks there your lvl alot faster then by just killing stuff.

11-12 I killed stuff in West Commons

12-15 Hollowshade Moore. Using a Kiting Macro. There's lots of mobs and most are KOS. So just running by em in a circle will aggro them. Plus there is usually no one in the zone.
 
Ok at 35 I just died twice n a row without killing anything I seriously dont like JPF need new spot for 35-40

Took a break from EQ for a good while... played some warcraft... its fun but gets old, not enough classes/content to keep me bussy... which brings me back to the legendary everquest, but with everquest, comes hax0rs/Xploids/Trix of the trade!

Welcome Back, now gimme updates! Got a 49 Bard, about 50% into. Want good XP in zones other than Dulak / Jaggedpine Forest. Population is kinda high on my server.

There is 1 nice spot outside of 1 of the towers in City of Mist, not alot of spawns, but enough. Decent circling area, usually low population. If you go deeper in, more spots but I haven't checked any out.

This place is good upto like 52 if you find the right spots. Can start at like, 35/36?
 
Definalty do Jaggedpine forest as soon as you get your dot spell twist in soem snare, As soon as you get all 4 dots available to you drop snare. this place is good til 51 and after you get run 3. Then do Court yard in Nadox, not if your on my server you get trained about once a day by idiots but its all good you can get 3 levels a day here and level to 62 my circle was set to 65 in jagged pine and nadox. Hope that helps. (sry for grammer and such i do not write to be english major just to get point across)
 
Koneman you got a loc for your circle in jaggedpine? I did it with my first bard around the campfire with a 35 circle. With a 65 circle you must not be doing it there. Started a second bard and gotta look at all the low lvl strats again hehe.
 
A good spot for 30-31 to 38 or so also in jagged pine is the Anchorite of Brell Serilis. If you look on your map you will see them to the far left they are in a tunnel. Follow the tunnel in using your map and you will come to a wall with a door, inside the door is a big rectangular pool, near the cave basiliks. Setup your circle in the middle and you will never drop below 2 Gnolls and they will not run, death is 0%, player detections is very low since you are hidden well, then head right over to poachers.
 
So looks like SOE nerfed Bard once again on last patch - anyone notice dots cap at 149 per tick, even with Instrument Mastery 3.

Anyway to get higher dots on Bard?
 
All my vulkans are hitting for 210 with all intrument aa and 3.1 perc mod criting for 420.
 
At level 47 started a few days ago at level 12, right now Spirocs are dieing 2x as fast or quicker then they are respawning, pirates are still a level or 2 away from being productive over Spirocs. Poaches are semi popular on my sever looks like i am stuck at Spirocs for now.
 
when i was using the pov loc discsribed here, it seemed to work great, 55-63 easily

You can park your alts a few meters outside your cirlce without adds, I personally would park em on the rock.. nothing wanders outside the cirlce near the water..

Did this camp at lvl 55. Twist is Chant of frost, Chant of Disease, Chant of Poison, Chant of Fire, Selo's Song of Travel, and Hymn of Restoration (incase I get hit). Each kill took about 6 minutes with Trueborn Drum of Dark Rites (percussion: 24) and yeilded 2% xp each kill! Great spot to start at 55! Thanks Hamburger followed directions to a "t" and it worked great!
 
Great macro, and great information on what camps to take this. At the moment I am applying the macro at the vassal camp in PoV, but it seems like my client crashes out every once in a while, not even at the login screen, just completely closes the client, and when I restart the EQ client I am always naked at my bind point. I haven't actually stayed near the screen yet to watch what happens, but it just seems weird. Anyone else having a crashing problem?

If it helps I am /twist 'ing Selo's Accelerating Chorus, 2 Chants, Selo's again, 2 Chants - my /circle is radius 70 -907.9 723 - and of course using /mac target - Also /docrack nostun

Just food for thought, I just got suspended while afk macroing in FH. To be fair GM Buglex triedd to contact me over the course of like 15 minutes, but since I was at work, I didn't respond. I HIGHLY reccomend NOT using this macro right now.

Seems like the pathing in forgotten halls has changed. I used to be able to macro for hours and hours and only, occasionally, use potions to heal. Now I need to box a 70 cleric to keep little bardbot alive, and thats just at 55. The main problem is when selo's fades. That occurs when it goes to recast selo's but is stunned. Twist doesn't recast it even though it's not a buff, or if it does, it has a chance to get stunned again right before it lands. I'm going to look into trying to make selo's a little more reliable with this macro. If anyone has an idea or has already done it let me know. :D
 
I think the pathing world wide has changed for us bards. Sony has figured out a fix for us.
If anyone has a cure of any kind ,or a new loc I would love to hear from you. :) :)

So with Vxed all screwed up. Were are we bards hanging and lvling these days , I would love some ideas.
 
I am playing a level 51 bard, I was in Plane of Nightmare trying to kill off the yard trash away from the main graveyard. I get the mob around 12% and it runs away. I have twist selos and another level 51 slow movement with the bind root, but it sometimes resist. What are other places I can go that the mob will not run away?

I have been chanting in PoV for a while now and tried HoH today. It seems HoH kills take longer and give same exp as PoV vessal camp is this possible? I am lvl 70 and would love a suggestion for a new camp after PoV. I am also somewhat new to MQ2 only about 2 weeks so far and loving it.

Kite more than one and the mob shouldnt run away.
