I can't figure out where I'm going wrong. I pulled the TEST branch into a new folder this morning, updated the build type to TEST in BuildType.h. My plugins compile fine but they won't load. When loading the message I get is "could not be loaded: Plugin was not built for this version of EverQuest (was built for Feb 1 2024 12:3506)"

I'm sure it's me. It's always me!

Any ideas?

If you have already checked the RG Launcher Plugin Tab then read the following:
- The RG Launcher is unable to *delete* old files.
-- This means you will get an error box if you don't have a current plugin that matches the mq build
-- your options are:
--- a: purchase a license
--- b: delete the old .dll in your plugin folder, and/or
--- c: change your macroquest.ini to MQ2PluginName=0 under [Plugins]

you look like you might be mixing up your builds you can't just willy nilly drag around plugins from one build to another

Thanks Sic. I specially compiled the plugin for test and copied it over to my test RG plugin directory. So, I'm not willy nilly dragging around plugins other than the plugin source. I'll check out the link above.

you didn't mention anywhere that you were self-building anything.

I'd make sure you rebuilt it after you changed your eqlib etc to the test build

I wasn’t pulling the test branch correctly. All working as expected now. Thanks again.
