Question - Plucked ACH. Most consistent way?

Struggling getting my last couple of toons plucked. My DPS is enough to kill boss before auras even spawn. Been trying to time breaking the last stun at 8% as soon as the auras pop up… but for some reason every time I do this it takes forever to drop stun and I miss the ACH. To combat against this I wait a few seconds at 8% before stunning but can never time it right and blow right through 8% and kill him instantly…. Probably 10+ attempts to finish off my last two…

Can you still just kill the archers before engaging with the final boss without fear of the mission resetting?

Edit: just killed the archers right after 4th mini boss and then plowed through Kar. Easy peasy. No more timing it. One more to go and then forget about ever doing archers again.

Kill first 3 minis around where they spawn in the X area, the pull Yarith (think hes the 4th) to around the red circle, be careful they do leash and reset hp if pulled too far
The second the 4th mini dies, afollow and run down the ramp asap
Kar and Elmara just stare at each other for like 3minutes if you dont trigger him (aka run down the tree to the 4 archers) then run back up after killing them and kill Kar. First one to zone in now has Plucked

That seems like alot of work other than just run to the end of your green arrow when the aura goes off, so your 1 guy that zoned in first avoids the aura for the plucked achievement.

I used to do it this way, too. If you have decent DPS, just go kill the archers before you engage Kar (run down right after Yarith dies). If your DPS is low-ish, burn the archers so you don't reset by not aggroing Kar fast enough. I think the timer is like 2.5 mins, but don't hold me to that.
Another way is to just send all your DPS down to the archers and kill them (they don't fight back) once you engage Kar. You can slow-play your DPS to get him to 80% if you want or you can just let him hang out at 80% with your tank and healer remaining engaged in the fight while the DPS does their dirty work on the archers. You have to be a little more active this way, but it's still pretty easy once you get the hang of keeping positioning on Kar after he punts you with his shield.

That seems like alot of work other than just run to the end of your green arrow when the aura goes off, so your 1 guy that zoned in first avoids the aura for the plucked achievement.

I like this… so once the aura spawns just run the one guy over the bridge? My tank is done so no biggy if one of my DPS guys sits it out.

When it first came out I did that with my whole group and leashed Kar… decided again doing that again.

Your way seems to win the mission faster, but I have found this way to work..I use the script by @GoldenFrog :

I run the Lua in Laurion Inn zone and pause the team and manually zone in the one I want to get the Plucked first. The script kills the archers (if you so choose). and thats it.

Yep just down to the last two guys for plucked. Goldenfrogs Lua kills the archers right? I’ve got the mission down, have zero issues with it. Just struggling with over dps… can’t wait until I just blow right through Kar.

Did this. Worked like a charm. Had plenty of time to get back to Kar. Much easier than timing it.
