My first resource ! Whooo! While I'm happy to have something, I'd love some testing and any feedback. The quest is old and I'd imagine should be available on EMU, so I hope it runs there, but as I only play on Live, its all I know, let me know if it works there so I can tick the Emu option as well.
Hey, I could be misunderstanding how the quest AND the Lua work... but I ran this in Rathe Mtns. I manually ran to the NPC, then started the Lua. The items were never passed to the NPC. I can do a bit more looking and testing later. Here's a screen shot.
I see it says it ended, and 'Not enough pelts'. That is correct if you did not have what is needed. But I see your screenshot show plenty Low and Medium. Please try again and let me know.
The 'quest' is simply that NPC gives you 1 next higher pelt for 3 lesser type. 3 Low Quality= 1 Medium, 3 Medium = 1 High Quality.
You should see an end result of 4 High Quality Bear Skins as example (it will do the 27 Low first. That gives 9 Medium + the 3 you already have is 12)
If you want and fun to test, you can start it in PoK or anywhere in Rathe, Will run to the NPC for you. On some servers/TLP/EMU that NPC may not be around sometimes, because he used to take a little stroll. There is a check to see him and run near him.

Sorry for the sparse info I provided, Redfrog. I'm on a regular live server. I did some quick looking at the code, and it looks like the peltBag variable is never set after the initial declaration, so the following check fails:

For @Lidori and everyone else.. my apologies. I bungled up saving over an absolutley working script (on my computer!!!!!! as is always said..hah) , and right before publishing I renamed it so overwrote it with a non working copy. Totally embarrassed here. File management 101 failure, no backup. In my excitement to publish I did not notice and upon looking over why its not working for Lidori who kindly tested for me, I found out after too many modifications what I blundered up. I am working to resolve my script, but it is broken at this moment. I will fix it, but happy to receive advice as well, as I prefer people can use it than me having to relearn the kitchen sink again. Its a 'good' learning process for me...but man it stings.

Anyways just to let you know it is still throwing the same stuff that Lidori posted above. It never completes the quest.
Just wanted to add that it is a nice idea here, these are the kind of things that make MQ great. Please don't be too embarrassed to continue working on this, it would be a shame. Keep your chin up and thanks. I will save my skins to test when you update.

Hi Vrakenor, thank you very much for the kind words. I am working on it. I know some of the errors I want to fix, I cannot say I recall exactly what I did...that part is the extra embarrassing, as it was my first successful 100% working (meaning all aspects) and I told myself "oh man yah dude !! get it out online" and the parts that I sorta 'unlocked' that perplexed me was ones I would go back and study to see exactly the fine detail I tweaked and use those elsewhere..as a few things can work in more than one script. But I did the copy over and did so many changes. haha. That was the end of that. I made it even worse not realizing that, and made more modifications after..
Its ok, I am getting back on track, I'm just so new and not talented as our big guns that its taking me like 4 days to do something one of our guys here can do in 2 min.
I worked on something with a mega talent, but he won't be back around for ..well I don't know.. may be a few months and I hope to get what we were working on finished up if he doesn't come back. But for now little scripts like this I have fallen in love with to get me started.
