I have been gone a few days.
I did run the Redguides Updater. It did update.
However, for some reason I can not log into EQ using the Launchpad, it tells me that Launchpad is unable to connect.
I cannot log in using the MQ2 Login function as it tells me: The date and time of eqgame was not what mq expected to be Feb 2 2017 12:25:50. Injection can not be completed.
I was able to log into EQ using the old patchme trick.

Was there a patch I missed?

I thought they fixed it but it would appear not. Friday around noon they did an update and that seems to have borked the launchpad launcher and the login process. Friday / Saturday I had a hell of a time just getting logged in. Even with the patchme option. I also had issues just logging into their website so it's on their backend and nothing to do with MQ.

Just click refresh injections it will work, I don't know what changed but it seems like EQ takes a tiny bit longer to start and that confuses macroquest2.exe and it gets the date wrong, I'm looking into it, on slow computers it's a problem, on faster it's not.

yeah I think you are on to something, my i7 3770 with 32gb of ram is a bit outdated and doing this after a reboot on the 1st run of MQ, maybe I need to upgrade, wait my i7 4770 with 64gb ram is doing it also. Will test waiting longer for MQ to stabilize after clicking it and before loading toons.... But I am sure it not a slow computer problem, I run 11x i7s now and most of them do it. Annoying yes, but a reinject works so its workable...

were u able to figure this issue out Eq_Dna? I was just on last night and everything was working just fine. Now today I ran eqpatcher and then I ran the RG updater but now I have the exact same message "The date and time of eqgame was not what mq expected to be Feb 2 2017 12:25:50. Injection can not be completed." I tried to refresh injections and that isn't working either.

This means EverQuest was patched, and Very Vanilla is no longer working. You need to do two things:

1) Patch EverQuest
2) Patch Very Vanilla

1) is ready. 2) is not ready.

We'll post in the following thread when an update is released:
