Question - Order of operations

Can't seem to find it, maybe I'm wording poorly....
In a normal xp grind, does my shaman use the dps routine until a named pops and then starts burns, but interrupts either if healing is required? Am I understanding that correctly?

Or, what's the priority that KA puts on dps, burns and heals?

I would think that to be correct. I have noticed that If I send any my healer toons in on any dps, they will prioritize heals.

When it come to burns, it depends on if you are using BurnAllNamed, Burns can be triggered by using a hotkey, or if your target is a named. Heals have the highest priority.
