incombat your mount still has the slower accel and deccel. So it is still usefull......
 
MQ2targets is crashing to desktop in Sunrise Hills again. This was fixed for a while, but the problem has returned.

I will look at turning this off in the housing zones since it kind of irrelevant there anyways.
 
MQ2AASpend and MQ2Piggyzone

We have recently identified a bug if you are actively using MQ2AASpend. ie /aaspend auto and try to /gate, /zone or maybe even zone normally you can CTD. We have no idea what is causing it at this time but we are looking into it. We will have a fix as soon as we identify the problem.

Error Description:
I'm finding that ghost is not keeping me hidden as it should when using it. I warped over to a body yesterday and started getting tells from someone in the group telling me to not loot the body because they needed one of the things on the body. I was shocked, and then I just asked if they had clay rotting which I needed anyway and they gave me the clay off the body. $$.

Zone: Morells Castle

Further testing reveals you will appear briefly when looting corpses. There unfortunately is no fix for this.
 
Problem with piggyzone:

The path from Vergalid Mines to Sunderock in the TSS expansioin is broken. Plugin appears to use /gate to get you out of Vergalid Mines and functions properly to get you wherever you are going. Not a hugh problem but I do NOT normally /zone through guild lobby and POK, good way to attraction unwanted attention.

Good catch, That sounds like one I missed. I will check it out tonight.

Zoning to and from Vergalid Mines added/fixed. New file in Warlander Compile thread.
 
For some reason, all my maps are showing up blank. None of my locations are marked, and no zones are being shown.
 
Today playing on EQ Live in the Hot Library with a group of 4 toons(Cleric, Shaman, SK, Bard) and 2 mercs (1 cleric 1 DPS melee). What happened was the group's shaman died so we i /succor the groups to zone in. Then /sumcorpse on the Shaman's corpse, Then Rezzed with my Cleric and the Shaman's PC looked up while the Toon was hoovering over its corpse, so then i closed the shamans EQ window down and restarted EQ live. Got the group running again and this time the MT bites it, we all /succor again to zone in. Cleric /sumcorpse and now the MT EQ window does the same thing and locked after the cleric trys to rezzes the corpse, the toons game may have locked up on the /sumcorpse cause the clerics Rezz timer for his AA rezzes wouldnt hold and just reset. any thoughts?
 
Succoring a toon while hovering will lock up your game. The client doesn't receive data from the server while in hover mode so /succor is trying to send packets and locking you up. No way around it really.

I will look into seeing if we can make mq2piggyzone ignore any commands while a toon is hovering. Would be useful for oh shit evacs. I have done that exact same thing with my mq2eqbc button, /bcaa //succor, to save the group and i just quit and relog the dead guy.
 
Custom UI?

ive noticed this as well i'm not running a custum ui but since you came out with the warlander compile certain maps no longer contain the lines and markings they use to just simply npc's and pc's that the map show ive kinda ignored it cause where it happens i usually will just piggy zone through (mainly garden and library in hot) i did think it was kind of strange to the point i deleted the map files and reinstalled with no success

I need to know the zones so I can verify the bug. Also /mq2map unload and see if the maps show the lines in those zone. Warlander made zero changes in the mq2map and it might be new files being pushed through for Veil of Alaris.
 
unload makes the titles to the zone show up but as soon as i load it back the names to the zones show up .... pok .... inothule swamp its pretty much every zone mq2map is blocking a layer of the points on the map that state zone lines mobs etc
 
easiset way to see what im talking about is go to pok and you will see the title of the stones is no longer there

Maskoi is there a reason why with mg2melee loaded my pet will auto disengage mobs while fighting?
 
It happens more frequently then that i play a necro and an enchanter i will hit pet attack mez slow and switch screens to necro and about mid way through the fight you will see both the necro pet and the enchanter pet back away at the same time
 
I play two different accounts. My KB is mapped so that the up, down, left, and right arrows that are between the keyboard and keypad, perform forward, backward, turn left, and turn right. After downloading the latest MQ2, I found that these keys don't work right. I checked their mappings in the options window and they are still set correctly. If I unload MQ2, the funcitonality returns to normal. I am using the default INI files and do not have a custom UI. How can I fix this?

Are you using the TEMP compile or the Warlander 10.12.2011b? There was an issue because of the new key command added to EQ last Patch with the temp compile but was corrected with the Warlander 10.12.2011b.
 
The path to MQ2 is, "C:\MQ\The Addicts Warlander Compile 10.12.2011b\Release\MacroQuest2.exe" I rebooted and it seems to work now. I should have tried that before reporting the problem. Sorry for the trouble.
 
My box running windows 7 crashes when trying to /zone. The box running Vista so far is working fine. Is there a problem with piggyzone and windows 7?
 
This is the first I am hearing about it. I hvve been piggyzoning all day on my win 7 64 box.
As always make sure macroquest2.exe is run as Administraor

hoosierbilly before you /zone type
/plugin mq2piggyzone unload
and then
/plugin mq2piggyzone

then try zoning should fix it

Plugin: Mq2ghost broke again

Ohi, Ghost is not actually ghosting me. when I arrive somewhere, on my other toons they see where I went, and mobs see me and attack. I looked to see if this was posted on the compile notes and stuff or here already but no one has mentioned it. I'm sure you already knew but hey.. I like helping out :)

On the ninjalooting note, from my earlier post.. lol. I was using it to get drops faster than other ppl who had to run to camps, so yeah sort of ninjalooting, but was not trying to just out and out steal stuff. I consider myself better than that, but not better enough to not cheat. LOL.
 
Mq2ghost is working fine as far as i know. I was running all over Somnium today.
Please make sure you have MQ2addicts on and MQ2Ghost loaded.
Also check to make sure its not from a previous compile
/ghost on
 
omgz, I always replace it when I download a new compile.

I think that's the problem, I don't have addicts loaded. I must have deleted it from my INI for some silly reason when stuff wasn't working right. Thanks for helping me realize how retarded I am today. I didn't even post my list... and here is the proof lol

Any idea why the MQ2 chat box isnt staying how i set it? i always reposition it and make it transparent and its always stayed that way until the compile got replaced now i have to reset the box placement everytime i get on / crash
 
That a new weird one. Set it up where and how you want it. Then camp out and see if you still crash. Then do the same thing but don't make it transparent. See if either of those work.
 
Sorry i reread my post it didnt come out right. The box itself isnt making me crash. Everytime i camp or crash from zoning and log back in the box has moved to its default location in the top right hand corner.
