Put this in here as i dont think its a bug with KA but prob more to do with a setting being wrong at a guess

anyway my group in the grounds simply wont loot,

have them parked at the spot mention in the guide posted on here, i.e near Plomaedis.

group is all casters, mag with pet tank, wiz, enc and shaman with 2 mercs.
pet is pulling and tanking fine but no-one in group will loot even thou i currently have them all set to looter.

have tried just one being set as looter, and tried rotating it between them still none will do so.

this happens with 7.4, 7.6.1, 7.6.3 and 7.6.4 latest download

my sk when i had him pulltanking seemed to loot ok, that was about a week ago but moved him elsewhere.

try running Maskoi's loot.mac (should be in Vanilla) on one char, see if that loots. If it works, then something is wrong with your KA setup.

If loot.mac doesn't work, I suggest looking for an older version of ninjaadvloot.inc

I have had problems on some occasions with pet classes refusing to loot, so i use an older version of ninjadvloot.inc

I've found that ninjadvloot.inc 2.1 works well enough for me(the current version is up to 4.6)

You should be able to find it in old versions of vanilla (although I got mine from MQ2 forums, recommend donating to join those as well)

will do , Alth they were looting fine in tosk using same KA ini files and ninjadvloot version so to be honest cant see how it can be a problem with either of them.

only difference from when in tosk, is now pet is pulling ( had a pali tanking/pulling ) , same toon set to loot.

As always you are next to an npc. go into loot.ini and change mobstoclose=10 or 5 until start looting.

had changes the mobstoclose, but wasnt sure what figure to use , i.e should i increase it or decrease it. so will give that a try

edit-
changed it to mobtoclose=5 and seems to be workign fine, thanks muchly

The number is feet from the character to check for mobs in a radius. It's so you don't try and loot corpses with mobs in a camp where things can aggro you easily. Since the default is like 100 and you are standing right next to an npc in that camp ninjadvloot thought it was a mob and wouldn't loot. so mobstoclose=100 means check for mobs in a 100 foot and if any detected don't loot.
