Question - Not assisting? (Answer: no group MA set)

I know I'm doing something wrong here but I can't get casters or melee to attack when I do a progression. I've tried assist, Chase, you name it. I know this is something I am doing wrong, can anyone please tell me. Bards take your shots

I would check in the notebook settings to see if melee is set to 1 vs 0. If its 0 that is why. Hope this helps. I am still learning my self.

Thanks. I can't get casters to cast detrimental spells. So far just heals. I hope I can mez. I know I'm the screw up. So all advice is greatly appreciated.

I mean, if the MA is targeting an NPC and the NPC is on XTarget, then they should assist.
Presumably you have an MA assigned.
If it's not on XTarget they won't assist and you'll need to /bcaa a command for them all to turn on melee perhaps.

We do not automatically attack objects...because they don't go on xtarget.

Mez should be in a spot with just mez spells or songs only. For Detrimental spell as in doing damage to mobs. Check spelling and make sure assist is set to on. Plus check your %amount that your assisting at. Should be around 95%. If you set that to 100 it will having you attacking NPC's.
