Hey All, returning after a few years and trying to get into the swing of things.
I've been playing 3 accounts, with 3 mercs. Alt tabbing causes me to use a cleric tank even when one of my group is a cleric just to make sure I'm covered.
Setup is generally 106 Enc, 106 Rog, 106 Shm with tank/heal/wiz merc.....or 106 mag, 106 clr, 106 rng with tank/heal/wiz merc.
Currently I just want to be more efficient till I build trust into moving to hard Continent.
Still doing Dead Hills Gribble HAs since thats where I was grinding years ago.
I watched, re-watched the 5 videos even wrote notes but still having Kissassist issues.
I usually will play the Enc or Ranger so I can pull.
The other characters don't do much
Rog doesn't come to mob/get behind it, he stands back and and casts juggular/hack and some stuff, but if I alt tab and move him behind mob and hit the melee button then he'll do backstabs on his own
shammy eventually sends pet, doesn't cast dots or anything, doesn't look like they really heal, even when i alt tab to it and try to tag over and throw some heals out it wants to auto target mob. does some buffing but will re-mem spells from book like canni even when grp is taking some damage and it has 95% mana
Cleric sorta heals..doesn't work as hard as the merc. cleric usually at 98% mana anytime i look
Mage...takes forever to send pet, then he casts more pets on every trash mob, he's usually out of mana most of the time
I created INI's for all my toons, went to the lib and got 105 INI's, overwrote the default ones that were created

Are the mercs the problem? videos never talk about mercs. it says whoever you target is who it will assist and it "almost always" be tank.
So when i load into the HA, i unsuspend my mercs, target the tank merc with the characters I'm not playing and do a /mac kissassist
I can probably sub in another toon, like an 85 heroic but with the way its playing I don't think i could complete a mission in less than an hour down a merc
side question, once i get this working where should i be XPing? burning a lesson at when hailing Gribble at the end of the HA is only 5% of a level.
