What do trophies do?

there are guild trophies that can be got back in.. TDS? also the earlier progression (tbm+) gives personal trophy slots (default is 3?, have to unlock to get 8..)
The easiest spot to start min maxing would probably be:
Evolving items, requires completion of TBL/RoS/EoK quests and hunters. PoP hunter and CotF+ collections for the TBL ones
Get the best AC/Hdex augs on both toons. Maximize your type 5's as well
Do TBL down to CoTF hero AAs
There are trophies all the way back in house of thule that may still be relevent if you have trophy slots open.
Stack up some Tribute
Obviously getting raid geared if its viable/possible for you
really depends how far you want to go to split hairs.
Evolving items, requires completion of TBL/RoS/EoK quests and hunters. PoP hunter and CotF+ collections for the TBL ones
Get the best AC/Hdex augs on both toons. Maximize your type 5's as well
Do TBL down to CoTF hero AAs

fun stuff? anguish chest for sk, bard click from txevu or time type deal? hunt for some nice bard illusions too. like poearth elemental etc.

Dont do TBL evolvers, waste of time. Energy sunk into items that should be replaced this xpac with group T3 stuff. The stats, even with augs are less, and the focus on them only works to 120...

First augs, which I am sure you have done. Make sure they are focused for that toon(heroic stats).
Second quest that bump up stats(mercs, partisans in expansions)

Do all the Mercenary, Partisan, Hunter, Challenger, Hero, Savior, Scavenger/Collector achievements going back as far as Rain of Fear expansion and all the way up to current ToB expansion.
Do all the Slayer achievements

Don't forget that food and drink give nice stats. If you're hunting in level appropriate areas you will generally get the materials you need as part of looting. It also is part of the tradeskills for that pesky Artisan's Prize. Also TS made armor and weapons can improve you at low to no cost. You can make augs, rings, necklaces, etc. This becomes especially important if you go FTP.
Unfortunately it seems all the top level TS gear is Prestige
A few more ideas for feeding the EQ addiction:
-- Complete the Collections for CoTF, TDS, TBM, and EoK. They will give you AA: Trophy Collector so you can have 8 Trophies active to burn up all the Tribute you will accumulate
-- Get the Jann's Veil illusion from TBL -- AFAIK still the best stat illusion - Permanent buff
-- Get the best possible Familiar from Paragon achievement - for Familiar Blessing (semi-permanent clicky stats)
-- Get the best possible Mount from Guardian achievement (Champion plus Paragon) - for Mount Blessing (permanent stats)
-- Max your Research tradeskills, at least on one character, so you can make all those nice augments -- and also backfill Rk. II spells that occasionally pop up as potentially useful
-- Take a group into semi-current/current Raid instances and farm Luck augments for your Charm slot -- assuming you have Charms with Slot 5, type 22 (Luck) open -- this should also get you drops for type 18/19 augments for all the evolving items you'll be working on ...

Not to mention the mount that drops (I think every time?) from the final VP raid. Fastest mount in the game and once you use it, all your other mounts will be the same speed. "Bridle of the Flying Imprisoned Sokokar"
Side note, to be able to request the VP raid you have to complete all the other RoS raids as well as Charsis seals from EoK raids (or Cactus raid in RoS)
