New here, just a SUPER fast question.

The only reason I came here was to find a macro for my cleric BOT.

However, I came across a macro for my necro in Forgotten Halls to get some AA's. That was worth the price of admission for sure if it works.

My question. It uses a "warp" feature...now, am I gonna get banned for this?

Meaning, am I actually gonna "warp" to positions? Or does that mean run to loc xyz?

I would think this would be a blatant hack. I don't wanna hack EQ. I just wanna macro some AA's. Thoughts?

It actually does warp, not run you there.

1st question:

I've been using warp for months now, and I'm not banned yet :p

Down and dirty answer. Yes YOU will more than likly get banned for this. Those of us that warp do it in places that there are no players and we make sure there is not a GM on.

Yes you can be banned for using the warp plugin. And yes it does warp you to the locations set in the script.

Just be smart about using it and you should be fine, also 2nd point keep it to yourself that you use these types of plugins and scripts

If you are using MQ2 you are technically already "hacking" EQ and what you are doing is against the EULA.

True, but I was just looking at MQ as an option. I could use various other macroing programs to do what I want to do with EQ, it's just that the Forgotten Halls macro caught my eye.

There's MUCH less chance you will be banned, something like 90% of all bannings are from player reports.

just to put the same 2cp in as everyone else here lol....using Mq2...macro programs of any kind will get u suspended and ure account will be brought up to be banned if they so feel to. that being said i have used warp so many times yikes but i am always alert and ussually in instances. becarefull and u should be fine..using a macro that uses warp in a zone that is public to everyone is stupid imo that is if u are afk..afk warping is never really a good idea lol
