Question - needing help with setting up my pulling in KS

so i been trying on all my character to see if i can get my pulls to change and stuff, i noticed my wizard wouldnt cast is there something wrong with ks syncing.
what has been happing is i would use /kissassist pullertank, it sits down and says waiting for mobs to spawn waiting 5 seconds, well after i read this i went in to the ini and tried to change the puller numbers and still didnt change almost like its not reading it ,, ini is in the config folder um what can we do or am i doing something wrong i am looking for something about 750-950 range

Do you target the tank when starting kissassist?
Puller has self targeted. Wiz has thank targeted.

Basic usage

Target your main assist and type "/mac kissassist" and kissassist will automatically use your current target as the assist and use the predefined role set in your .ini. Alternately, you can make specifications on startup:

/mac kissassist [KissRole] [AssistsName] [AssistHealth%]

Example:

/mac kissassist assist Bob
/mac kissassist assist Bob 98
/mac kissassist puller BobTank
/mac kissassist tank

For tank characters, you can have them assist themselves, which will make the tank decide which mobs to target. It's generally a good idea to have your tank decide which mobs he is to tank if a real player is not going to be the main assist.

hi cant seem to get my group to pull at all and deleted my post thinking i fixed it well it seems to not sync or something /mac kissassist pullertank no matter the values it wont pull says sitting waiting for mob in 5 sec and spams it iv tried all of them /mac kissassist hunter or even assist puller and nothing workes i just wanna pull long range or even whats around me about 650-950 range any one know why it doesnt work anymore ? also posse says 300 but wont change also it unloads it self to and i have to load it back

Based on the information you've provided the reason could be.. a few things. Instead of guessing I'm going to post a few links and if you can't get it going we'll need you to do things like post the .ini file your using with your puller.

Check those out, I get it if some of the information there are things you know but somewhere is that nugget of info you don't that is going to solve your entire issue.

Please make sure to post in the kiss support section for kiss support, and posting at least the pull section of your ini would be helpful

im still figuring out where to post stuff sorry that you have to move me ill work on that better next time,

this pull is for every character i use nothing changes even when i change the ini it still acts like it doesnt change anything default values still nothing and the marks on the map don't change now

just to confirm, you are editing the kissassist_coolguy.ini in your "config" folder and not in your "macros" folder, correct? if not, edit it there

also: still need to see at least the pulling section.

MaxZRange should be more like 500, 90 is too small in many circumstances.

your pullradiustouse should be 0-100, the default is 90.

you can't use 400% of your pull abilities max radius

The percentage, of the items range you want to use when determining when to stop and pull a mob. Basically you can use this to determine how close you want to get to mobs when pulling.

As Dax pointed out, the Wiki is a huge help but it may also help if you post a bit more details about your group makeup, what exactly you want each toon to be doing and probably the ini file(s) so we can look at them with you. The devil is always in the details.

from that debug it seems liek the a problem with mq2posse, it shows it reset to 300 by 30

BTW Sic, I get like this. it will cycle through wait, looking for close range on my bard.
The only reliable areas are in beasts' domain and east wastes shard. can pull anything and everything no problems. which tells me its a Z issue for me too, even though mine is also set at 500. I figure what might work for this person will work for me too.

couldnt find anything to change it so i guess ill try another zone and see if it fixes it
