INTRODUCING MQ2Ghost Our version of MQ2Stealth.​

This plugin has the ability to let you move around the zone client side without getting aggro on mobs.
This will physically leave your character at the spot you /ghost on at while you move around the zone.
PLEASE USE WITH CAUTION. It is very easy to forget you are ghosted. Requires MQ2Addicts

It has 2 commands
Rich (BB code):
/zombie - on|off|return|reset - no interaction with the world
/ghost - on|off|return|reset - can open doors and buy/sell from merchants
  • on = on
  • off = off. When you /ghost off at a different location than the original spot of /ghost on you will physically appear (warp) at that spot.
  • return = warps you back to where you /ghost on
  • reset = warps you back to where you /ghost on and turns ghosting off
MQ2BagWindow is Here!
MQ2BagWindows is the the current solution for the broken item swapping and items in bags.
MQ2Melee, MQ2Cast, MQ2Exchange, MQ2Cursor, MQ2ThrowIt, MQ2Feedme all of these plugins have been rewritten to support MQ2BagWindow

A few changes:
MQ2Addicts is required if you're going to run our packet hacks in order to use the following plugins. MQ2AASpend, MQ2Ghost, MQ2OcFarTrade, MQ2Pax, MQ2Piggyzone, MQ2RWarp, MQ2Supercast, MQ2ZoneLock

It should autoload if you use the Macroquest.ini in the compile. If not, please /plugin MQ2Addicts in game. Packet blocking is no longer part of MQ2Main.


MQ2DoCrack.ini is included. Thanks Czarman!

I'll say it again just in case it was missed: MQ2ADDICTS is REQUIRED if you want to use our packet hacks. Please be sure to load (/plugin MQ2Addicts) it in game if you do not use the Macroquest.ini I provide, which will load it automatically.

  4. Run EverQuest.exe
  5. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use

I CTD when I /Zone to MC - it seems to happen from House of Thule upper to Morrels Castle ?

Are you flagged for it and/or does it have a normal zone in or a switch/portal?

I will check the latest patch and piggyzome.ini file to make sure none of the numbers changed.

Everything looks ok in code and ini file. Morell's Castle is connected off of Upper Floors Right?

Try it again please see if it was a random CTD.

OK here is the deal with Morell's Castle.
It is a portal not a door so piggyzone can't go there but while digging around the MQ2Piggyzone code I did come across a long lost function of /zone that of course in is not in our plugin info.

You can set/clear waypoints using the /zone commands.
Rich (BB code):
/zone setwp <WayPointName>
/zone clearwp <WayPointName>
then zone to those waypoints
Rich (BB code):
/zone <ZoneName> <WayPointName>
Example:

I ran to Morell's Castle zone in and typed
Rich (BB code):
/zone setwp morells
this created the following entry in my mq2piggyzone.ini file

[thulehouse2]
morells=872.43 -1120.83 131 381
so now when I type the command below mq2piggyzone zones me to Upper Floors and drops me right at the Morell's Castle zone in.

Whenever I /zone on my enchanter bot (not any other bots, same MQ, same ini's, etc) I crash.

Any ideas?
 
Heh - whenever I "/ghost on" it won't let me open doors and if I'm at the door and "/ghost off" I still can't open the door. I get the "you have to move closer" reply. If I do "/ghost return or reset" it works fine after I run back to the door.

Seems to be a burp in the plugin somewhere that is randomly executing a /ghost return and confusing the coordinates where you are in the world. I will have to look into further.

/ghost reset then /ghost on seems to fix it for now

See what happens when they let me code plugins that will teach em. :)

Good catch turned to out be a bad opcode. Try this one
 
I get disconected everytime i use the /speed command. Everyting else works fine that i use but once i type in a certain speed i disconnect from server within 10 secs.. not sure if it is just me or not but can you check the files and make sure everything is good, thanks.

I was able to duplicate this. I will look into and see if I can find the problem.
 
MQ2Pax /speed fixed

Found the issue with using /speed booting people to server select. New file attached. Download and drop it into your macroquest replacing the old MQ2Pax

I can't seem to zone in without crashing,have to unload MQ to load the neighborhood.

MQ2CastTimer has not been updated since HoT and it has been reported in the MQ2 Vip boards. The original author stopped supporting it almost 3 years ago.

I do read those forums weekly for updates but no one has posted any fixes yet.

Load the plugin go die and /type rezzme lol. Let us know if still works.
 
iirc the last time I tried it, it disconnects you, but you still rez. Dunno if there's a problem with the corpse though.
 
Ahh forgot about that. It would produce an unrezzzable corpse so you would xp but sometimes that was better than running all the way back etc.

I was able to zone into neighborhoods with no issues on 3 toons. It is most likely a plugin that is crashing you. Its probably one that tracks spawns or something. Look at my list and unload any plugin you have that isn't on it and see if you still crash. Then load them back 1 by 1 until you find which one is crashing you.

MQ2Targets was my culprit. The tracking window plugin will probably also crash you.
