A few changes:
MQ2Addicts is required if you're going to run our packet hacks in order to use the following plugins. MQ2AASpend, MQ2Ghost, MQ2IstantMem, MQ2OcFarTrade, MQ2Pax, MQ2Piggyzone, MQ2RWarp, MQ2Supercast, MQ2ZoneLock

It should autoload if you use the Macroquest.ini in the compile. If not, please /plugin MQ2Addicts in game. Packet blocking is no longer part of MQ2Main.


MQ2DoCrack.ini is included. Thanks Czarman!

I'll say it again just in case it was missed: MQ2ADDICTS is REQUIRED if you want to use our packet hacks. Please be sure to load (/plugin MQ2Addicts) it in game if you do not use the Macroquest.ini I provide, which will load it automatically.

Instructions:

  1. Download the zip at the bottom of this post
  2. Unzip to a folder of your choice
  3. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
  4. Run EverQuest.exe
  5. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
  6. Refer back to this post for any syntax and plugin descriptions you need

Don't think we have ever had a MQ2CLoot type plugin in our compile that I can remember. Sorry :(
 
Hey, can you explain to me how to tell Fippyzone to use a translocator? For instance, if I want to tell South Ro that it can connect to Timorous Deep via a translocator, do I just add Timorous's # to the SRo line? I'll try to fix all the missing connections in Fippyzone and post em here.

Replace Translocater Tradil and Jorbin, first 2 lines, in the mq2fippyzone.ini file with the following

I use Inner Space (and IS Boxer) cause I run 3 toons on one PC. Problem is MQ2 doesnt work when I am boxing? Is there anything I can do/tweak to correct this?

Had the same problem as u did. to fix that u gotta run the isboxer and mq2 as an administrator in windows.

All EverQuest Live Servers will be coming down on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 3:00 am US Pacific (US Pacifc-PST is -8 GMT: 4:00 am MST, 5:00 am CST, 6:00 am EST, 11:00 am GMT, 12:00 CET) for a game update. The servers are estimated to be unavailable for 5 hours. Keep an eye on the EQ Players website and the forums for status updates and for news if additional downtime is needed.
 
This is not 100% but it gives you a good idea of what MIGHT be coming!

*** Highlights ***

- Rare NPCs in "House of Thule" now drop tradable large bags.
- The Dwarven Axe, Dwarven Two-Handed Axe, Bloodruned Mallet, and Fellwinter can now be placed in your house.
- The click effects on Shellscale Bone Fetish Necklace, Silbacle's Rosary of Conquest, and Carved Bone of the Nighthowler no longer share a timer with Geomantra click effects.


*** Items ***

*** Quests & Events ***

- "Librarian's Nightmare" - You will no longer have to restart the event if the person carrying the Words of Opening dies before turning it in.
- "At World's End" - Fixed an issue that would cause the event to to reset improperly if players failed at the ice giant fight.


*** Marketplace ***

- Fixed a bug that caused Potion of Companion Amnesia and Potion of Mercenary Amnesia to not function correctly.
- Items that are on the marketplace or on sale for a limited time now display a timer.


*** Miscellaneous ***

- Fixed a bug that caused large zone lag spikes when doing player trades with large stacks of items.
- Pets and mercenaries will no longer try (and fail) to follow you while you are on a boat. They will wait at the dock until you disembark before teleporting to you.
- If you die while on a boat, your corpse will now be moved to the safe point in the zone.

It always breaks on a new patch. We are waiting on MQ2 Source code release for new patch before I can update the compile.
