I'm trying to lower the price a little without messing up performance if anyone knows anywhere I can make some replacements. I would really like to get this sometime this week, but would really like to see this price lowered and I'm not much of a hardware person. If anyone knows anywhere at all where I could save a few hundred (even $50 would be good) by downgrading any of those parts I listed without having a major noticeable impact on the computers performance then please let me know.

Again, by looking at the attachment in my first post you can see A LOT more detailed specs including prices for every part, parts that I have replaced to save money, amount I've saved so far, sub total, final price after rebates and all of that stuff.

What's the estimated price tag?

I put it in my post already, it's $1,015.89 I believe. Decker, how much did that laptop run you? Also, can you build custom laptops in the first place because I would rather have a computer and it's also going to be cheaper ordering part for part instead of a prebuilt.

Looks like instead of a new comp I need new glasses :D

will say make for damn sure your memory you are not skimping (named brand) and that it plays nice with your motherboard... and if you box you may want more than that ... second i build a new pc about 10 months ago i will check for my newegg brake down and what it ran me.... but i must say my comp has not crashed once since i built it and i can 4 box on this one machine while running mq2 on it and not have a single problem from it....

Apple is sexy, slim, 99% free of viruses, and fast but too damn expensive for how few games work with it. Apples are really for either businesses, business or personal users but not for gamers.

How much is the video card custom on it? Because you can prolly get the same video card cheaper at frys and just put it in yourself.

Are you talking to me? That setup that I showed you wasn't a prebuilt computer, they're all computer parts and I did buy the video card separate and I am going to put it in myself. That computer ran me (with the 22" HD monitor, MX518 mouse and everything else) just barely over 1 grand after rebates. I'm guessing it would have cost $3-4,000 if you bought the same setup prebuilt from DeLL or someone.

HOLY JESUS!!! What a difference!!! I can run EQ perfect now, before I had to have all graphics settings to lowest (including all advanced settings turned off) and look down to even move in dragonscale hills or PoK/Bazaar. Now I have everything MAX, far clip plane 100% and everything and I can move around in the most crowded parts of DSH and Bazaar or PoK with ZERO lag, I love it. I can also run Crysis with MAX settings and ZERO lag. I'm downloading 3DMark06 right now and I'll let you guys know my score.

EDIT:
Old System: 58 3DMarks
New System: 11,666 3DMarks
