any hybrid i use (sk, pal, bl, rng) loves to cast more than they love to snaproll rear like all my melee toons. it's only hybrids, so i'm making the assumption that it's the casting that gets in the way of getting the ass of the mob.
no mq2melee loaded, i've set the melee AssistAt percent 40 points above the first cast percent to see if that would help, but the behavior remains: toon will engage, face target, but then start dumping mana instead of moving to mobs ass and engaging in melee combat and then casting. to be fair, toon is sometimes in melee range and has attack on, but is not positioned where you'd expect with snaproll rear. also, if the mob is moved, the hbrid (and not the pure melee classes) will often ( > 75%) not change his heading to continue landing melee melee attacks.
perhaps snaproll rear is to blame and a simple rear would work better.
thoughts?
