Plugin - MQ2War (2 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

I purchased this and it has been the best thing I have done. It turns my warrior into an unstoppable beast and is very helpful for setting a pulling area on the map. My only request, and sorry if this is the wrong place for this, is if there could be a setting to pull more mobs. If I am PLing some toons in FM, I don't want to go back and pull 1 mob, I want to pull 4 and squash them all.

you should consider using huntertank mode, it will cut your pull time in half since you're going to the mob and fighting it there instead of pulling it back
 
Seriously Huntertank and /war ignore is money for farming hunter achievement. Learning the radius and pulling arc are key.

Well worth the time to learn them.
 
had an issue with this app and illusion key ring yesterday. Was trying to self buff with jann's mask and i had aspect of the brood in my key ring... would not stop casting. not often you'd want other illusions over janns mask, but it happened.

this doesn't really articulate anything that i can respond to, without me wildly guessing.

If you have something in your stat illusion and have something else in your add clicky - that is something that you will have to adjust - you should consider not doing that.

So if you're telling EQ "hey even tho i am going to cast xyz illusion, I want the buff from abc illusion instead" you need to rectify that yourself, since if it meets all of the criteria from the addclicky in which it is added, it is going to try and use the item.
 
So, in Frontier Mountains and decided to do a Goblin camp and it seems sometimes my warrior will just sit and not pull for some reason and not sure why considering all the conditions seem to be met, which i am attaching a screenshot, so you can see all the values, you can see that there are mobs in the circle and everyone is full of mana and full of health.

I would strongly recommend censoring your toon names there.

I would assume that zradius is the culprit here.
 
So, sometimes my warrior when in Puller Tank mode will just sit around and not pull, even though the group is Full of Mana and Health, there are mobs in the blue circle and everything, his endurance is fine, so not sure what i'm missing, so attaching a screen link here.
you have a very very very low zradius. I would adjust that.

A. Not pulling a mob is almost always an issue either with your Navmesh or your pull settings. If you do a /war debugpull on once and it will cycle 1 time and spit out in your mq2 window all the mobs and why you are not pulling them. Compare the output with the mobs you think you should be pulling and it will tell you why. This will notify you if you have no nav path, or out of zradius, or regular radius, or on ignore, etc.

Thanks for the fix there, i have gotten it fixed, is it possible to remove my post there with the screenshot, as names are in it and I tried to remove it, but still showing up in your reply.
 
Here's more info. My player is a cleric with a merc and a boxed warrior. I want the warrior to tank. MQ2Melee was doing okay, but kissassist was ignoring the ini file even though elbow strike was there. So now I added MQ2War. MQ2War does combat nicely, but the boxed warrior seems to be chained to a particular place and won't move. When I switch to the warrior screen and nudge him he immediately sits down again. When I target my cleric and /follow he ignores it. I want him to follow me, not park himself on a rubber band.

not sure how that's related to your original question - which was about mages and you said about kissassist.

If you have an un-related question, you should post in that area.

but if its an mq2war question and you set mq2war in a mode that sets a camp - he's going to return to the camp. start > here < for the cwtn stuff - if you want the tank to follow someone, you can assign him as maintank in your group window (so he does tank stuff) and have him in chase-assist, mode 2 --- he will chase the person you have assigned as main assist, and he will change targets as you target stuff to fight (since you're main assist)

That's actually really helpful. I'm coming off a 20 year EQ break and am still pretty weak on differentiating between mq2, kissassist, and the plugins, and how they (and the game) interact/interfere with each other.

After watching your intro video to mq2war I'd figured out how they setup a camp, but chase-assist wasn't working--the warrior was chasing me, but wasn't assisting. But I don't think I'd assigned her as main-tank in the group interface, so i'll give that a shot.

well 2 things - for it to actually be chasing, they would already be set as MA

you do, however, need to ensure you adjust your assistat to be at the value you want, which i would guess 100
 
I notice some of the class plugins say emu and some don’t. I’m playing on hidden forest but very interested in these? Am even willing to put in my own spells post 70 custom content. Any chance MQ2War and other class add one would work with this?
 
all of them are freely available for EMU. They just have no support. Which is why they are free. Because too much custom stuff on EMU.

Tempest blades AA does not seem to be linked to the AE option.. My War is still using it with AE set to 100 and use AE turned off.

we only use dragonstrikeAoE in 1 location. when you have useAoE turned on, and your numer of xtargets is greater than or equal to your aoecount

i think we spoke about this before.

are you sure you're not confused that it is also timer 10, which is the knuckle line?

Well.... I seem to be hitting my pets with Tempest blades. They are agroing on me.

are you sure that mq2war is using tempest blades (we would output it in the mq2war window) when you have either a: useaoe turned off and/or your aoecount set like you said? because as i mentioned we only use it under the circumstances i mentioned.
 
Been using Warrior for a week now. I want to put in a suggestion. is there anyway to add "Taunt" into the spam on Pull. Sometimes mob spawn and is too close to use a range weapon. Then Taunt can take care of that distance. Just a suggestion, feels like it would help on close spawn. Just a suggestion. Thx !

if you are in a tank mode or assigned as a tank in your group window, you will use taunt every time you can once we get back to camp.

we're not going to do any additional stuff while we're coming back to camp. there are target validations and distance checks and all sorts of other stuff to make sure the toon isn't doing something poorly or something it shouldn't.

its going to go pull the mob, then when it has aggro (xtarget is populated) it is going to return to camp, the moment the mob crosses the campradius (red circle) threshold we're going to engage - we actually also have a campoverlapbuffer that will go outside the camp if the mob is attacking one of your group members and they happen to be outside your campradius (unless they are flagged as puller).

definitely don't have any intention of adding taunt spamming while on the way back to camp. I would suggest ensuring you have your camp setup in a way that makes sense - campradius, overlap buffer, etc.

I also recommend if you're still having a problem, try using a huntertank mode and the rest of your team in chase mode - you will go to the mob and fight the mob where it stands, which not only means no mob wandering around while pulling, but also means that you're cutting your pull time in half.
 
Any way to downgrade an ability? I've been running LDONs on TLP, and my warrior uses incite, which would normally be fine.. but the endurance regeneration is abysmally slow in this era, he spends most of his time medding.
Being able to disable incite so it uses bellow instead would be beneficial, if that's achievable somehow?

it isn't. if you have upgraded your ability we're assuming you want to use it

that line is only used if you're tanking (in a tank mode or assigned as group main tank), you could not be in a tank mode or assigned as group main tank, and then use your tanking stuff manually (tho we do use dps stuff when not tanking, so its possible you use timers that are mirror'd for defensive stuff). but that would make it so you can manually use bellow instead of incite and berate (or provoke for 85 endurance since your concern is endurance cost).

unfortunately, there's no way in the cwtn plugins to change your configuration for this 1 ability to be some different ability multiple tiers off.
 
Now my warrior wont go to mobs in vorpal mode until they are agro on me and my group gets stuck on follow on my Tank. I dont have them chase mode at all. Any ideas?
 
dont use the afollow button on the group window to have them follow, that thing is just bad dont do it.

vorpal mode is not tank mode, if you want your tank to tank, put him in tank mode.

I dont want tank mode and i dont like chase... so no thank you and no thank you... Thanks for the offer though. I need to move and chase mode gets stuck on shit constantly. I been using vorpal mode for a about year now and its exactly what i want.
 
Vorpal mode is an assist mode, not a tank mode, so he is not gonna go agro things until you have them on you, and they are hurt enough for his assisat to activate him.

if they follow your tank around, and are all cwtn plugins in vorpal mode you did something bad like use the afollow button while on your tank, if they are not cwtn plugins, you might have started their inis with chaseassist=1

Lets say you run your bard manually for pulling and what else you like doing with him, and want to have the move to you when you cleaned an area, so you can clean next area

cwtn plugins:
- Use vorpal mode
- Tank will need to be assigned as group role maintank to perform his aggro stuff in combat.
- Remember vorpal mode is an ASSIST mode, so will engage mob based on the cwtn rules for assisting.

Kissassist/muleassist
- In the ini make sure this is set like this:
- returntocamp=0
- chaseassist=0
- usemq2melee=0
- Start macros like so /mac kissassist assist bardnamehere 98 this will put them in assist mode, and couple with the other settings its basically like vorpal mode in cwtn.

RGMERCS
- Ask morisato, i have no experience with rgmercs.
- If they have similar settings as kissassist/muleassist,it should be about the same.

Moving your team to your bard
- /bcg //nav id ${Me.ID}
- to have them follow, use their chase modes, both cwtn and macros have it and it can be quickly turned off and on using a social

sic might disagree with some of my info, and if he does, listen to him as he has more knowledge about cwtn plugins internal behaviourt han i.

did i mention do noty use the follow button the group window if you are running macros and cwtn plugins unpaused? cause its terribad and just awful

Ok in that case... SIC TANK isnt working either and I cant even get auto attack on until the mob is agro on me.
