• Hail, we're RedGuides. We want you to play six (yes, 6!) EverQuest characters at once. We have scripts and a friendly community to help, please join our playstyle and say hello! 👋
  • We've added LLM sections to our Terms & Rules and Resource Rules, for everyone's sanity & in-game safety.
    a. Do not replace your voice with an LLM. This goes for your posts and your scripts. Drafting and editing with a tool is fine, but don't take you out of what you share.
    b. Do not replace your EQ character's voice with an LLM. We don't want scripts that speak over /ooc, /shout or other public channels. This has been an unwritten rule that's kept casino scripts off the site for decades, but we're now compelled to make it clear: keep automated communication private.

    Why Does RG Review Scripts?
Nearly every LLM-written Lua script we see is making your character do impossible things, and rarely in a way that's beneficial to you. We've seen heavy server hammering, /target over impossible distances when /nav spawn would passively accomplish the same thing, a spawn search that fires 20+ times per second, and other pointless actions that are likely annoying GMs.

You are welcome to use LLMs as a tool to structure, draft, and edit your work, but please read critically before hitting /lua run

Problem - MQ2Rez spams after rez

It succeeds but continues to SPAM that is selecting window.

Can we also add a command /rez delay (time in sec)
and /rez raid on/off to stop rezzes when in a raid

I noticed this yesterday pre patch... i was having other issues thought it was just a bit specific. I had chars with respawn windows/invalid corpses and couldn't respawn to anything.... so i didnt say anything thought it was just my combination of whatthefuckisgoingon causing it to spam

I did get the patch and had it continue after that. We also had an invalid corpse issue happen but I think that's serverside. We had to log out and back in after each rez to clear it and be able to resume kiss assist, but the invalid corpse thing was an entire other issue, it took going to task manager and ending the eq session to free the player, then it popped him back standing where his corpse was, but still with no ability to rez.

I am experiencing the same issue. I'm seeing corpses with no timers on them and I can't corpsedrag them either (with the character they belong too).
i'm guessing it's a server side bug after the patch as i can see the corpses in each eq window.

There were two patches yesterday - one regular patch, then an emergency patch to fix the mq2rez issue - did you check the patcher again?

Edit - looks like there are some lingering issues - but eqmule has fixed eternally and will hopefully be rolling out later on > Here <
