Oh I see, those a my dates. I'm using a clean install of Win 10 Pro. The only thing I've downloaded is EQ and MQ. I'll manually install the update as well as my other cwtn plugins. Thanks for the help.

just click the plugin tab, and make sure you hit the download button.

don't manually do anything, always use the launcher if you can

Everything was fine until they randomly stop assisting and just stand there watching my group wipe. When this happens I put them in manual mode and pause them so I can try to kill the mobs but they are frozen unable to move, zone, or cast spells. /camp desktop doesn't help. I've read the manual, the discussion, I've searched and googled but I can't find anything. This happens randomly, intermittently, it eventually resolves itself, usually after a wipe and travelto the last camp. Can you point me in the right direction?

Where are you killing? Is it possible they're getting stunned or mezzed? The inability to do anything even with the plugin paused leads me to believe that's what's happening.

City of Mist. I have a full group. My shd, clr, shm, and my enc still work just fine. Before this started happening my necros would top the dps list now nothing.

this doesn't sound like an mq2necro issue --- we don't do anything to them to make them unable to manually move, zone, or cast spells manually - especially if/when the plugin is paused.

My necro just hit 125 and decided to try this, WOW awesome is all I can say. You all are good at what you do.
 
sorry all dumb question, i am trying to figure out how to start and stop this. i got rid of my pet and trying to see if he will cast it on his own but not doing so. tried switching to assist and puller tank but he wont cast a pet, not sure what im doing wrong.

we summon a pet during downtime - you have to have bonechips to summon a pet
 
hi sic, do we manually cast it? i am in downtime currently have bone chips, mq2necro seems to be running but wont cast pet on its own

no we don't manually cast it.

what does "seems to be running" mean?

if you are not paused, you have bone chips, you are in downtime, not invis (unless you have a camp), and not in byos - you will summon a pet if you don't already have a pet
 
So I am trying to set up the script. Have my necro as ma. Bard and enchanter are running rgmercs. Necro is not targeting mobs. How do I fix this? I have MQ2Necro set as assist mode.

to select a target and engage it based on it entering camp and such - you would need to be in a tanking mode.

2 CC and no tank - you're just a glutton for working harder aren't you :p
just make the nec mt/ma and have it in a tanking mode
 
So maybe a bug? Command list window shows UseDotSnares usage as follows:
/nec UseDoTSnares true/false/on/off/1/0 - Will use a memorized DoT/Snare spell. -- Does not automemorize it unless it is already getting automemorized. Use BYOS/BYOS Custom

However, when I run /nec UseDotSnares 1, the plugin output shows the following message:
[MQ2Necro]:: UseDoTSnares isn't a valid option!

Memming Necrotic Pustules on TLP seems to do nothing. Necro won't cast on Main Tank or MA ooc or in combat. I have BYOS and BYOS Custom checked and he keeps it on the bar.
 
Isn't that the purpose of BYOS though? In your guides it says 'we try to use the spell' so I thought mentioning that Necrotic Pustules is a defensive proc with a relatively linear usage would be an interesting add.

I know the FAQ says to not get prickly about the way to do things because necros have so many play styles and options, but on the other hand trying to add possible value through suggestion. The dps is pretty poor in the 85 region so I was playing with things.

no it isn't the purpose of byos - please check out the link i shared, it has information on the byos, which would answer the question i'm now answering the same way twice :p

your question wasn't "i noticed the plugin doesn't use abc/xyz what do you think about adding it".

your post was about something that doesn't work the way you think it does.

try and meet me/us halfway, we have a "how to ask for help" in the sticky as well.

is it something we may add at some time? sure, maybe - no it isn't something we're adding at this time, however
 
Hello, is there a way to get it to use Call Skeleton Thrall rk.II (level 125) instead of Call Skeleton Mass rk.II (level 120) without using BYOS? or am I missing something that makes the level 120 better?

The 125 version is a DPS downgrade at the moment.
 
Just got this plugin and I have the rank 3 version of the new Pet Swarm (level 125 spell Call Skeleton Thrall RK. III) however it will still only mem the level 120 version and does not even see the new version in the plugin.

I'm clearly an idiot here. I want to solo using this, but no matter what mode I'm in nor what I set my role as, this never initiates the pull/fight cycle. What am I missing please?

While I will say that these are not designed to solo really, you should use a pulling mode. PullerTank or HunterTank should be the thing you're looking for.
You also need to check your pulling tab and ensure you zhigh/low (or just /nec zradius #) and radius are setup correctly, it should pull with Scent of Thule AA assuming you haven't disabled the pull ability and you have the AA.
